Merely to manage expectations, for those who have tasted the buffet at Lemon Backyard Cafe, Shangrila Kuala Lumpur, usually do not expect an identical buffet at Shang Putrajaya, 45 minutes away. The buffet at Palm Hill Cafe is a lot smaller sufficient reason for less variety. I liked thesalad area with the selections obtainable there. The Szechaun soup was served with buns and butter, Western style - didn't quite jive. The live carvery section offered small servings of roast lamb. I requested tender parts and some of another pieces were tough. The live pasta station served just bolognaise beef or chicken pasta of average standard. The cooked mains were a disappointed with huge but soft prawns, tough beef, less tasty minced lamb, over-cooked squid plus some vegetarian offerings. Two little pizzas were at the pizza counter. Japanese food and the most common mussels etc in ice are not contained in the Saturday lunch buffet. The red velvet cake was the excellent on the list of deserts. Nestle ice lotion, bubur red bean (extremely sweet), along with other pastries plus fruits were offered too. Espresso and tea from the device was contained in the buffet as well as real ice-cold water that i appreciated. You might feel thirsty till late that time.

Dinner wasn't so excellent. I attempted the pizza and the poultry chop. Both had not been "wow" standard. However, not several eating there though. Just two tables which includes mine. Breakfast however has been with quality foods. My breakfast includes the area, so, I'm uncertain howmuch they charge, nonetheless it was ok.

It's not good to obtain judgemental after having a buffet at a 5 star resort. But, we pay somewhat extraordinary, therefore we do involve some expectations, don't we? On a confident note, assistance is attentive. You ought not depart your unfinished foods unattended to aswaiter will certainly take the plates apart. Putrajaya ShangriLa isn't a big resort and the buffet cafe is certainly much smaller review to those downtown. Choice is still limited, in comparison to our last go to. There still no clean seafood, no new salmon no fresh oyster. Therefore, if you would like sashimi, go someplace else. With that said, we wonder exactly why satay isn't made available because of its BBQ buffet dinner? Some dishes seriously lack the five-star-hotel-personal-touch. Lamb kebab/ skewer tasted gamy as the otak-otak tasted like heated frozen meals. Poached/scalded prawns were not at all fresh as flesh consistency has turned rather gentle and broken. Of most, Peking duck was alright, kids enjoyed the self-helped noodle counter (vegetables weren't fresh though) plus some of the salads and Naan. We enjoyed the rojak but hey, you obtain good rojak at around RM5 at any mamak eating place in Malaysia. The bottom line is, this restaurant can be an average cafe. No surprises. There is nothing particularly excited or appealing. So, we can't assist but to turn out to be judgemental. I don't observe how it keeps around the ShangriLa brand. Restaurant was on around 75% occupancy whenever we were there. Probably it should focus on ensuring fresher and much better selections?

The Buffer was available at this hotel. SINCE I HAVE was having a small business conference, I thought getting a buffer at a 5 star hotel will be a safe selection. The buffer was inexpensive by 5 star resort standard however the food was very limitedand the cafe area was huge. Provides impression that it had been really sparsely patronized and the meals counters not a lot of. Had wanted to move ala carte but on considering the menu was generally hawker fare of chay koay teow and nasi bryani etc. therefore proceeded to go with the buffer. The buffer is fitting an extremely small town cafe rather than a 5 star resort.

Me, my children and my hubby visited this restaurant for the lunch buffet about Saturday. Though there have been very little of food selections (in comparison with any other five-stars resort buffet), we really enjoyed our lunch time. Cozy ambience, for certain. The staffs had been veryhelpful (as getting along your child daughter using your 2-months-old-baby-boy will be not really a simple task). They also supply the buggy services from the automobile park area right to the lobby - therefore, it is extremely convenient for individuals who desire to bring stroller/wheelchair.
