OKR is normally inundated with coffee stores and fundamental eateries, most not on the comfort and ease coupled with parking difficulties. Chong Heng offers desire to patrons who would like easy parking (out front side doorstep else protected basement with elevator, on top of that - free ofcharge!) & awesome aircond comfort. I am here maybe once or twice. Claypot Curry Fish Mind was aromatic however, not too spicy, adequate fish head pieces & a lot of cabbage/long coffee beans/brinjal/tofu puffs. We requested for seafood slices to be additional else it'd you need to be fish head items. Great for those attempting to suck and poke at the bones but us softies furthermore desire to eat some real fish meat. Fairly sweet & sour pork was great - good sized pork cubes, juicy (not deepfried to dying) with fairly sweet & tangy sauce. Steamed white-colored silken tofu with preserved veg (mui-choy) and minced pork has been ok. Fundamental veg garlic stir-fry okay too. They function complimentary dessert of they day time - we'd green bean soup as soon as, another time had been iced cincau. About RM20 per mind if you don't order fancier meals. Will be back again to attempt the roast meats - noticed several roast ducks stream previous us plus they looked mighty tasty! Staff has been reasonably attentive - mostly foreigners however they could communicate within basic English/BM. Captain had been a chinese woman. Patrons may possibly also watch the kitchen area in action.

This restaurant is actually visible when traveling along Jalan Klang Lama. It really is situated within Newcom creating which also houses a number of bars/bistro/eatery & an exclusive club. Basement parking will be ample for visitors as the parking on walk out are usually reserved for the golf club members. Therestaurant includes a rather huge menus to pick from and most which are great & tasty. Live fishes may also be available, greatest steamed with a gentle drizzle of soya sauce. Our favourites are the kailan fried with mui choy, steamed whole poultry, braised pork trotter in claypot & kam heong tofu. This restaurant also suits team bookings with a number of set menu packages & 2 private rooms. While the restaurant isn't large, but it continues to be able to accomodate a number of tables. Sometimes the eating place runs at full capability especially during supper, so booking beforehand is recommended.

The surroundings is good however the vegetarian food isn't good. Plenty of car parking at basement. Won't recommend vegetarian order with this restaurant.

Being among our favourite restaurant together Old Klang Road with regard to casual dining or even to celebrate a particular ocassion, Chong Heng in no way does not impress. From the pleasant and prompt assistance to the nice quality consistent cooking food, it simply continues to help keep us returning formore. The cafe isn't large but following a current renovation to relocate the personal function rooms, the eating place now feels much more spacious than before. Steamed reside fishes are strongly suggested and always regularly steamd to perfection and offered upon a platter with an excellent high quality soya sauce. The cafe has limited seafood tanks containing the reside fishes but will most likely have got tilapias, rock goby & groupers. The roasted duck is quite unique and served on a particular sauce. Another preferred of ours may be the claypot pork trotter, a heavenly however sinful dish of chunky fat attached to tender meats. The claypot beef tendon is merely delectable & offered with a generous part of broccoli, chinese mushrooms & do-it-yourself tofu. Parking is not any issue given that they have both open up air and basement choice. And its cost-free too. Location smart is very good and easy to get at. It occupies section of the ground ground of NewCom Club that is opposite Pearl International Resort.

My sis-in-legislation had regularly bought take-away out of this cafe but we in no way ventured to try the meals at the eating place itself till recently. Subsequently I produced another visit 14 days ago. The meals tastes good & costs are pretty sensible. Ample parking can be acquired &that is great given the busy Aged Klang Road area. We ordered the Kai Lan with Dark Fungus in white wines & that was great. ( $18). The Prawn with Salted Egg was regular & was a little expensive for a little plate ( $28). The Ginger & Scallion Fish slices was Okay ( $28) & therefore has been the Tau Foo with Seafood Paste ( $20). Instead disappointing had been the Roast Pork & Char Siew combo ( $22).the picture of the dish managed to get look so good nonetheless it didn't meet expectations. Overall I'd still give it an advantage for a satisfying dinner at this restaurant There are usually a wide variety of dishes to select from & the location is good for family members dinners or with little group of friends
