Was dissatisfied in my own last trip because the restaurant was closed by enough time I reached previous 2.30pm. Therefore I ensured I reached the restaurant past 9am to use the lor bak. It didn't disappoint since it was refreshing and crispy. The prawn mee didn't taste as effective as the one at Small Penang Cafe in KL because the stock wasn't as rich. The fried kway teow acquired 2 good prawns and small cockles. Wish to go back to attempt the wanton mee and porridge 1 day.

The meals is ok to my taste but nothing special. I went there 2 times fr breakfast. I wouldn’t return back. I ate char kway teow (portion okay) and a variety of pork and prawn fritters (so small part but taste ok) The decoration inthis authentic old coffeeshop is common in Georgetown. This is a very busy location with a lot of locals and few vacationers. Plastic chair or stools and tables and ceiling enthusiast, nothing special. The place appeared to be ok clean. Food selection had been ok but nothing at all special. My stomach was typical full Service has been careful by friendly personnel arriving at ask you if it had been ok for you. They're always ready to last. Quick service even though all tables are complete a Saturday early morning. Choose your meals at the tiny stalls and the employees brings it for you when it s ready Maybe I would get back to try the loh bak since it is said it's the best right now there but I came across the place very costly when compared to usual location I eat each morning. Besides I didn’t experience as full.

Older people waitresses were helpful by getting chairs and getting a clean table for all of us. Was rather amazed with the man, probably the boss, using the orders and planning them aswell, as he could keep in mind what we very first ordered whenever we went for asecond assisting..

I was within 2015 and thought the penang char kway teow was great. But this time around, found it ordinary. It is possible to tell when you stroll in at 1pm on Sunday and its own no problem finding a table. Moreover, fifty percent the shop customers purchased laksaor wanton mee. Lor Bak still great. We shared one penang char kway teow between 2 pax, and went somewhere else. No wok hei. RM8 for 1 bowl of char kway teow. Disappointing.
