After doing the study on where you can have the very best curry mee in Penang I actually had not been disappointed. The women are sisters within their 80s (almost 90?) who've been marketing curry mee for over 60 many years. They don't have an effective store but can be found under a huge tree - the initial left once you cross the creek heading uphill. Their curry mee won't disappoint with the mix of vermicelli and hokkein noodle, the coconuty soup base with the proper amount of chilli. Essential visit and a discount at 8 ringgit!

Probably the most famous hawker food within Penang. Been with us for a lot more than 30 yrs therefore i guess it received't fail. The two sisters have become friendly and though this is a couple of tables under a large tree however the atmosphere is fantastic. This famous stall is slightly overrated because of excessive media and social coverage however the taste of its curry mee certainly meets the standards (or slightly surpassed my expectation ). Will come back for one more circular whenever I'm within Penang. Actually we actually favored the (Assam) laksa couple of blocks later on, situated at the corner of Ayer Itam wet marketplace which has a right to be the very best Penang laksa I've tasted up to now!

Not bad within broth, noodles and ingredients. Two forms of noodles inside (egg and vermicelli). One bowl expenses RM5. Grandma had been there to oversee the stall. Starts closing at 12:50pm. Make sure to make it happen before 1pm. Shut on Tuesdays.
