Overall, I'd say this is my favourite Japanese eatery to go and it's easily worth it. We ordered both the chicken and prawn gyoza.

Both had thick skins and greatly limited filling. Who knew that they would open up in Malaysia not long after? They've done well enough, capturing that segment above the midrange, below the fine dining. Also wouldn't recommend the gyoza.

Strangely enough, my absolutely first time of knowing about Sushi Tei moreoverk spot in Bali during a holiday. Inari sushi with tuna. Tempura batter for the prawns were a bit thick for my liking and the dipping sauce didn't own enough rameal - hence a lack of texture. Starting off with the interior, their spot is well furnished and it actually gives you a "I'm in this location for Japanese food" kind of feeling.

As such, expect to burn a small hole in this location. However in terms of value for money, sushi tei will probably tick the box for most.
