I got taken up to Aroi Mak Mak by way of a friend and his family members. The team allowed us to purchase a variety of dishes. The meals was very good general. Every dish has been tasty and pleasant from the pomelo salad to the steamed seafood. I feltthe restaurant was much better than its typical ranking on website. A good four stars if you ask me.

Consider it; a Malaysian who’d invested the majority of his young existence in NEW YORK cutting his tooth in Michelin starred establishments, returns to KL to open up a Northern Thai cafe! You’d be looking forward to the meals with anticipation. It really didn’t disappoint andin truth surpassed anticipation. The pork rib tom yum had been perfectly well balanced in a savory-sweet-sour-very hot broth with generous lashings of ribs. It experienced the new flavors of Thailand there in a bowl. The cup noodles, early morning glory “tempura” & steamed ocean bass were all similarly bursting & hopping with panache. We walked away of Aroi Mak Mak sensation as though we’d been about a trip of Northern Thailand, satiated as well as perhaps thinking of another meal there. Soon!

As someone who doesn’t like pork along with other red meats because of the gaminess, I tasted similar flavour on the poultry meals we ordered. But my pal who just returned from Thailand stated it tasted exactly like what he ate back again there soI imagine it’s regular. Soup was really flavourful and we like the fried kangkung with it’s sauce. Thai milk tea has even more milk in portion.

The tom yum fried rice was served with 1 prawn that has been definately not fresh. And nothing at all else inside it. Terrible.
