Rojak is the greatest!!! i had been looking for greatest rojak in Langkawi but none can get to my expectation. when my pal suggest me this location, I was like, "could it be halal?". fortunately every meals at the stall will be HALAL! the 'sotong kangkung' is verynice! i'm not a laksa lover, but most of my buddies said that this is a must attempt. it's sort of sad since it only open up on Friday. but don’t worry. the waiting will probably be worth.

First of all, I'm not a local. Stepping in to Langkawi island a lot more than 5yrs (monthly) makes me bored specifically with the meals there until I came across this specific stall (Chap Nya Yee). In short, you merely could believe that you goes backto the aged time. Great food (laksa etc), fine ice kacang and outstanding service rather than pricey It is a MUST VISIT location when U are in Langkawi. That it opens Friday just, else I'm going to be there everyday within my visit. p/s: make certain U are usually early if wana flavor the meals, as the company is quite great and finishes early.

If you're traveling round the island and nevertheless looking for traditionally produced food for the exotic tastebuds, visit this old college open air canteen design hawker. Their been there for many years, it really is as old since it will get. Curry Noodle and the famousLaksa, ready making use of coal fire, and Ice Kacang dessert nevertheless shaved using the great ol' ice shaving device! You can find other great snack foods like Rojak (Malaysian Fruit Salad) and Cuttlefish Spinach Salad... all of the great ol' works!!!! Require Syrup "Bandung", Soy beverage and Chin Chao beverages too! Located behind Asia Resort, close to the Traffic Law enforcement Station on the primary street of Kuah City, Langkawi... You ought not miss it!

We asked a taxi to get us here after reading through the reccommendaions on journey advisor, and he previously to stop three times to require directions. We attained an area roadside cafe with wonderful wood tables with a kitchen area setup down one end. Most of us purchased laksa, it's was quite nice although just a little different to what we have been used to. I'm certain it had been more traditional. The personnel were very pleasant and showed us a few of the local meals they were serving. The area was also extremely popular, many individuals coming and heading and by enough time we left, all of the tables were complete. It was a good experience and fascinating to observe where locals might consume. Furthermore a laksa was 3RM! Crazy!
