If you would like authentic Malaysian laksa, the toast container is where you are able to obtain it. It’s a seafood fans delight and a good wholesome dinner for the soul ;)

(This is a overview of the Toast Container outlet at the Departures Terminal, KLIA2). The food court right before the gates as of this terminal has a couple of eateries, ranging from the one that serves Indian food to 1 which focuses on dimsums. We arrived hereto capture an evening trip, and made a decision to have an early supper before we boarded. Probably the most prominent kiosk we're able to see at the meals court (as well as the one with the menus that a lot of appealed to us) has been Toast Box. That one has its seating-rather convenient and plush than that of the meals court itself-and its wait staff who arrive around to completely clean up. The menu at Toast Box does feature toast (including with the popular coconut jam referred to as kaya), but it addittionally has various other popular Malaysian dishes. These could be purchased a la carte or within meal sets. The food set includes a major dish, rice (if essential), and barley water, that you can obtain either popular or cold, dependant on your preference. We purchased an Asom laksa and a poultry curry (which was included with steamed rice privately). For both meal models, we chosen a chilled barley drinking water. Initially sight, the poultry curry looked extremely dubious if you ask me: it had big chunks of spongy, deep-fried tofu floating in what appeared as if an extremely fiery curry-and without sign of chicken. Nevertheless, digging just a little deeper, we did discover two poultry drumsticks and a largeish chunk of potato. The flavor was excellent, full of flavour rather than quite spicy at all. I liked this. The Asom laksa, which had prawns, shredded chicken, fried tofu and hard-boiled egg inside it, was every bit nearly as good, with plenty of flavour. The barley drinking water had been something neither folks liked, but not really to the stage of hating it. Considering we paid just RM36.80 and were stuffed to the gills with great food, I’d contact this excellent value for money.

I quit queuing at the airport terminal Toastbox as the personnel were moving at snail speed. The queue was obtaining longer - at the very least 7 in range and five minutes per consumer before a fresh orders is used. At that price I’d be waiting around halfan hr before anyone will take an order! Employees couldn’t end up being bothered to cover any attention. It could have been fine to obtain a laksa that time but I wouldn’t return back into a queue like this. The employees attitudes and training have to change. Especially within an international scene like the airport.
