I went a bit adventurous. White rice with seaweed, Japanese cucumber, strawberries, salmon, fried salmon; topped with parmesan cheese and dressed with honey mustard sauce. I find my combination interesting but the birthday bff said it was weird. LOL. I must say the honey mustard sauce was a little overly sweet to go with my fresh sweet base.

This year Diwali (deepavali) is on 11th Nov, 2015. with this post, i wish all my readers a happy and joyous diwali festival . when comes to Diwali most of the people will think about the best mutton curry to have , the awesome Tikka Masala chicken to find . I am consolidating recommended item of desserts , beverages , currys for easy simple menu dining for Diwali celebration , so you get to try out their temporary Diwali dishes . Believe me you, I've never been to Publika. Strange and weird right? Well, presumably its the comfort within Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and close-by areas why I am alien to the upbeat-happening Publika. Then again, nothing venture nothing gained is my philosophy as well. If not for this food review (courtesy of FOODInk), perhaps I wouldn't even have bothered to take the long drive.

A place in Publika that is well known for their custom made sushi roll had made them one of a restaurant to visit around the area. Since then, Okonomi have work with chef to launch their new menu for 2016 to push through their new flavours for customers to enjoy. In their open concept kitchen will make you feels that you are walking into Subway, maybe Japanese version?

Maybe it was due to the high ratings on the previous reviews here that I expected more.I mean it was nice but I could tell the ingredient quality is a little on the cheaper side.And with many Japanese places around here you have to have something special to standout.Nice to try but will probably go to the others I have been to before this one again
