Finally back KL right after being stranded abroad, and in a position to enjoy our food once again around Taman Tun. We continued 9 July with a pal of ours to use C-B David for the very first time. And had been delighted. Especially to get alovely burrata as a beginner - delicious, After that we shared the steak & mushroom pie, the tempura battered halibut and the Toulouse design spiral sausage. All great - specifically the halibut and the sausage - we did believe the steak meat might have been a bit more tender. We completed with the chocolate fondant and got a nearly all enjoyable dinner. We have just been again and were just a little disappointed. To begin with we'd complimentary olive bread(tasty) on an initial visit - that isn't available apparently which period we paid Rm10 for the Loaf of bread Basket of assorted breads. Since it turned out we obtained 4 slices of exactly the same bread and something was burnt enough beneath the grill to become not necessarily edible - inside our view. We'd the burrata once again cos it really is delicious and for mains a beef & cheeses pie, and the duck confit. The pie had been Okay and the duck confit could have been excellent had your skin been crisp(maybe my connection with duck confit in France provides spoilt me and my specifications). In addition to the roast potatoes weren't too amazing - sliced and cooked instead of whole - that could be our warped English interpretation of roast potatoes! . Exciting that the purchase price for the duck confit is usually two times that of a close by restaurant which also offers duck confit on the menu. So an account of Two Sittings - the one that was delightful and something that was of lesser regular and enjoyment. Lovely décor within and excellent service.

I dropped inside on a weekday, looking to be capable of geting a desk but was told it had been completely booked and was wanted to end up being seated at the bar. Actually chairs at the lengthy bar had not been bad as we will get a viewof your kitchen staff at function. But the air-con that very highly blows down has been a dampener. We perused the menus and made a decision to order the loaf of bread basket (they don't offer free breads, this price $10 each), shrimp and crab bisque, wagyu beef to talk about. Food delivery was instead slow. To begin with, the bread basket didn't can be found in a basket, it had been basically 5 slices of half reduce sourdough on a ceramic plate. I really do not think that is appropriate and definitely had not been impressed. Most (in fact all) Western dining places that i head to provides free loaf of bread but this was false here. The bisque nevertheless was wonderful and creamy, this we like. The wagyu had not been to your liking either, we requested moderate, it looked medium properly and was too dried out. Overall not just a great lunch expertise, I really do not think we are back for another circular.

Try this location out after listening to about it. First of all, reservation his recommended in the event that you program to come. Not only because its very popular at the second however the seating space is really a bit limited. Obtain table if you don't are okay with seatingat the bar counter. We went because of their Roast Duck, Seafood Pie, Steak & Mushroom Pie and the Seafood Curry Ramen. The Roast Duck here's now on our Best 3 checklist, The pies were produced as how they must be and offered with mash spud and mushy peas. Are you aware that Curry Ramen, great about of seafood in the bowl, the broth is a notch below perfect. "new" location for roast duck, leave to Taman Tun to check out David.

Our third go to for supper to what is really a lovely restaurant inside; extremely comfortable and relaxed decoration. And the staff have become friendly, quite helpful and incredibly attentive. But we were unhappy on ourt final check out - we felt the meals might have been toa higher regular - burnt toasted breads, and warm french fries didn't do it for all of us. This time around we were back and started with a pleasant burrata entree - excellent. For mains, my partner acquired a pie which she mentioned was Fine and I experienced the Wagyu burger at RM58.00, Served in a few exclusive spiral flaky pastries. The specific flaky pastry at the bottom had been soggy and stodgy in my own view. The burger - I asked for this moderate and said "not too pink inside make sure you" I acquired rare - start to see the photo - really rare. They wanted to repeat but I determined not - but I really do have the chef should enhance either his reading through or cooking skills. Must do better.

Finally surely got to eat within this charming neighbourhood bistro right after reading so significantly about any of it and encouraging recommendations. Basically proceeded to go for the pies and we weren't dissatisfied. The three folks all enjoyed various offerings and loved all of them. Poultry, steak and mince with cheesewere top quality. Only a warning - they're big pies alongside mash and mushy peas. I noticed one few expressing a pie. Not just a bad concept if you want area for a dessert. I'm sure ,4 stars increase to 5 whenever we try a few of the enticing main classes on our next check out.
