Firstly, I will prefer to say that I'm not just a carb eater which means this review is focused on how I have continually ordered it without the mee hoon kueh or noodles. What keeps me returning to the old school Malaysian design stall rightin Johor may be the broth that proprietor - Uncle Ng, helps make with pork bone and anchovies and super minimum amount MSG. Uncle Ng utilized "mani" vege making the soup a lot more sweet. It's among my favourite veggie but rarely observed in Singapore. I'll always order with more anchovies because I really like the crunchiness and saltiness to the soup. Yesssssss I'm a salty meals junkie. Include an egg in to the soup and wowwwww. It is a wonderful plate of flavors and textures. The meatballs that Uncle Ng uses comes with an interesting q-q texture. I in no way got down to inquiring him if he produced them himself. I will never keep the stall without "ta bao-ing" another 3-4 luggage of soup with elements all in back again to Singapore. It's this type of beautiful plate of comfort foods that I am usually missing & can't get more than enough of.
