It is a nice cosy cafe which brings memories of home comfort. We proceeded to go there around 9.30am and the only real totems available were espresso, toasted breads, French toast and mun mee (stewed noodles). We ordered espresso, toasted Kaya bread (it had been rather dried out with athin level of kaya, I did so nothing like it. The loaf of bread was too slim and came out such as a biscuit) and French toast which tasted typical. Chee was okay. In short, I love the ambience, friendly program but not the meals they work for breakfast!

Tucked away from the end of a noiseless lane in Ipoh Older Town, this couldn’t attended as any longer of a nice find for us. Think it’s great because of its ambience and basic 50’s/60’s-style decor. In addition to the fact that it really is work by abunch of seniors who certainly take much satisfaction and satisfaction in providing a competent and friendly service. Are you aware that food, it’s sincere and wholesome Hainanese fare that's difficult to find fault in. The Hainan Mee and quiche had been excellent standouts, as the Hainanese Poultry Chop was most surely above-typical. The sauce had been a tad lacking but overall it had been well-put jointly and well-introduced. Would we come once again? Yes! And next time we’ll possibly try to get in earlier in order that we obtain there before the on a daily basis freshly-baked pies (apple/poultry/kaya) get sold-out.

A quiet cosy spot to relax over a good cup of aged fashion espresso and simple Hainanese house cooked food.
