I wanted somewhere in Gopeng for lunch and because the top options were only open for supper, this is a surprise find. It looks unassuming from outside nonetheless it is in fact quite clean with wifi. The mee kicap and the toast bread wasreally good. Service could be a little faster but staff were quite friendly. We are back.

Only if more coffee shops in Malaysia can evolve to end up like this. Refurbished but nonetheless maintaining the type; owner-run with food made in-house; and accepting payment via e-wallets (in cases like this Touch & Go). We found the kaya excellent - in a variety of combinations egkaya-butter toast, and together with glutinous rice; coffee was, for me personally, sadly only so-so and the nasi lemak nothing to shout about. Nevertheless, you can't expect everything. We are back for the kaya, and poached eggs on toast the next time we're in Gopeng.
