We tried this cafe after reading articles on it's opening. We'd their semi buffet lunch time & purchased the beef burger & ocean bass as mains. Beef burger helping was huge but ocean bass was little. Mains tasted okay but nothing at all to rave about. The salad spread was good & fresh. Potato & leek soup was tasty & I especially like the buttered loaf of bread sticks. Staff service has been impeccable. Mr Vincent, the F&B supervisor, whom I've corresponded with for reservation, found focus on us personally. He also show us the resort after lunch. Do come & benefit from the quiet ambience & quite decoration of the dining area and try their other dishes.

Heard about the brand new semi-buffet lunch from The Glasshouse Cafe inside freshly minted The Prestige Hotel inside Church Street inside Penang. Went there with several close friends, and we did purchase several items from the menus. How it operates is you purchase yourentree from the checklist in the menus at the listed cost and you obtain complimentary soup, salad and dessert. To begin with the cafe is nicely designed, much like the hotel. With great organic lighting and predominantly whitened finishing, the area looks clean and sophisticated. The cafe isn't too large, probably sits about 80 or slightly lesser however they do possess two even more seating area over the hallway, but I love the street-side since it is much brighter. The six folks ordered ... Seafood Aglio electronic Olio, Smoked Duck Carbonara, Nyonya Ulam Rice, Pan Seared Seabass, Crispy Poultry Gochujang and their Signature Beef Burger. I'd say I really like their Nyonya Ulam Rice the very best, probably followed carefully in a tie by the Crispy Poultry Gochujang and Signature Beef Burger. The pastas weren't too bad, even though Smoked Duck Carbonara is slightly dried out (however they did advise prior to the order that their method of cooking the carbonara is drier when compared to a as they avoid cream but egg white). The Pan Seared Seabass had been slightly dried out for my liking though. I actually felt the Nyonya Ulam Rice includes a excellent flavor to it, specifically from the many herb used to get ready the dish. Something very unique you do not usually discover in a cafe offerings. The Poultry Gochujang is really fine and crispy, and the tangy sauce helps it be a genuine yummy dish. Just comment the batter will be slight too heavy for my liking but general I'd say is great. The beef burger in the meantime is very delicious and juicy. A course burger I'd say. The service is courteous and fast, despite the fact that they told us may be slightly delayed since they were expecting a large band of a conference upstairs however they did OK, most likely the get our orders out prior to the group comes in. The Minestrone soup was nice, haven't had this soup for some time now and the breads is fresh. The salad distribute was good however the dessert, in addition to the options of fruits, the cakes I'd say could possibly be improved. But overall for a semi-buffet food in the RM 20s, for the reason that environment, this is a good offering.

We had a good dinner but nothing exclusive. Mushroom soup was wonderful however the mushroom burger has been properly mushrooms on a bun. A little pricey.

Overall the retaurant offers good experience. Items cost at mid variety and slightly higher.. sensible for a reataurant in the city area with one of these settings.. food flavor are acceptable..

We were twice here: for breakfast and for a day drink. Food high quality mediocre. Omelette station disorganized (wrong order initial and slow). Service gradual and disinterested. In the afternoon we wait a lot more than 20 mins for just two simple non-alcoholic beverages. Just what a pity because thedesign will be cool
