MoonTree 47 is situated @ 47 Lebuh Muntri, within George Town's UNESCO Primary Heritage Zone. Leading finish of the shophouse is really a Retail Area generally selling postcards as the back end homes the Café Kitchen; top of the storeys work as a Guesthouse. The Caféis located in the mid-section where in fact the airy courtyard is; it includes a quirky, rustic décor with mismatched tables & chair and retro knick-knacks. This is our 3rd stop by at MoonTree 47 and it'd be our last because of our negative experience:- Service had not been only exceedingly slow but additionally lackadaisical. The Café just had 1 other consumer during our visit nonetheless it got the server a lot more than 10 mins merely to provide us a menus & another 10 mins to take our purchase. There have been 2-3 servers working but we'd to exert great hard work to attract their interest every time as they appeared to prefer loitering @ the Retail Region. When a server lastly deigned ahead by to your table, she appeared to have difficulty understanding English and we'd to repeat our purchase many times before she were able to scribble it lower on her notepad. Evidently, she wasn't as well attentive while using our purchase as she shortly doubled back again to verify the products with us. Ordered items took more than 15 mins to reach and were not worthy of the wait from just about all. The Banana French Toast & Pancakes had been both unpalatable and we struggled to complete our foods. The only savior here had been the Iced Italian Chocolate that was refreshing on a muggy time. Total Bill for just two 2 pax amounted to over RM 50 that is deemed costly by Malaysian regular. Given the appalling services & unappetizing food, such costs are unjustifiable ~ we will not be back & we can not suggest MoonTree 47 to others.
