Slow burning up charcoal embers under the pot of soup has been a warm welcome in a cool Sunday early morning. The stall fronts Kwong Fatt Lee Cafe that's signed in Mandarin. The fragile kopi is a disappointed at RM2.70, well over regulated KL coffeeshop cost, her reasoning that it had been cheaper than 2 cups - welcome to Penang little minded logic. The Koay Teow Thng (RM5.50) is really a fine departure from typical with trio of eel balls inside a light broth. Unfortunately, chef said he had been to busy to create them anymore. Increase some pork balls, Teochew fishcake and spinach for RM7.50. The eel balls had a gentle silken finish, and since its surimi is currently factory sourced, you truly have no idea if its just flour you are eating. By 9am, the lengthy shophouse will be congested with patrons shoulder to shoulder, and is not any longer a location to linger on in yesteryear.

Discovered this humble place whenever we see local group tapao-ing each morning.Broth: very clear (not ‘zouk’) soup with sufficient flavour (not the savoury type).Presentation: includes chewy seafood balls, pork intestine, thin duck meats slices, thin pork meats slicesNoodle: perfect regularity of softnessPortion: just great for light eaterThey likewise have poultry/pork innards/foot on individual.Kopi O: traditional kind dark kopi, slightly bitter (most likely the water temp too much while making)The warm and hearty choice for light-er noodle breakfast.
