We went for lunch time on a Fri and there were a large number of tables chock-full. We sat in the protected area as you can be found in from the resort side, not in the restaurant, so even though initial ordering and support was great, attractingattention for things following the initial get in touch with was a bit more difficult. The foods continues to be reasonable - the poultry pie is delicious, although even more potato and veggie with bits of poultry. The bean sprout with salted seafood was too salty - which often means not so top quality salted seafood. Their noodles were Alright. So the 4 superstars was because of their pie. Other dishes tend to be more in the 3 superstar range.

Despite of the many reviews, I did have no expectations of this eating place. This eatery will be nothing fancy, more likely to explain as homely and its own decor has nothing at all to shout house about. But food sensible, they're some winners that produce the vacation worththe while. Dishes just like the poultry pie is really a knockout - freshly baked with tasty sauce with chunks of potatoes and poultry meat beneath the golden puff pastry. The assam seafood fillet using its delicious lovely and sour sauce acquired the right quantity of tangy. Poultry chop basked with lighting tomato sauce can be creditable - it had been crispy externally and gentle and moist inside. That which was intriguing: macaroni in a particular sauce offered with a souffle topping. Service for that night time has been commendable as Charles had been around to create recommendations and he actually demonstrated the way the gula melaka and coconut milk ought to be offered in the sago dessert. If you are exhausted with the Penang road food - this can be a good restaurant to go to.

My wife and i went to lunch along with his aunty and uncle nowadays. You can't move past locals suggestions add they're, so it was an excellent come across. In a heritage detailed developing from 1926, it's older in a charming method. Food was tasty, andas the owner will be from Hainan, you understand it's authentic. Have to tries are the springtime roll, the poultry with poultry rice and the poultry curry. All tasty. Reminds me of my mums poultry and rice! Wish we'd more time another

We were hosted lunch time here by some close friends - didn't expect the meals to be as effective as it had been, having been here this past year and had not been impressed then. Our buddies ordered Char Hor Enjoyable, lamb and poultry satay, choon pneah, andsome okra dish that I didn't eat. The portions had been reasonably big, and the meals came out quickly. The Char Hor enjoyable was very good - as effective as a number of the better types in KL. I desired their poultry satay to the lamb, only if as the lamb was a little gamey and hard - the peanut sauce had been tasty. But it may be the choon pneah that amazed me as that is easily the greatest I have had because of this journey (had tried a number of different dining places). Tasty fillings with lighting skin that's crispy. Arrived piping hot but taken care of its texture even by the end of the dinner. We attempted their sago pudding as well for dessert also it was very good, with quite fragrant gula melaka.

Great tasting dish comprising yam & duck ( ark-oh) and the curry seafood too was excellent. Springtime rolls was good as well. Ambience will be oldish/ heritage-like; cost ? Moderately pricey. However the food indeed preferences good. I'd come again.
