Saved in the backstreets. Pick your beer from fridge, shell out the dough, sit back right outside. Beer very cheap and a lot of fun indeed.

As Malaysia is really a predominantly Muslim territory, it isn't always no problem finding various kinds of alcohol. If you result from Penang you need to come here. Wide selection of spirits open until late evening, a gathering point for most tourists and several locals! Pricesand daily offers on beer! On the list of choice Champagne found (Moèt, Cristal, Dom Perignon among others.) Very recommended !

Google cheap beers in Georgetown which is where your search will lead you, and rightly so. There’s very little to the place, only a building with some fridges to select beers from but that’s all you have to. Sit outside on plastic seats and mixin with locals and travellers from all walks of life.
