We came here for supper and just like the ambience of the cafe. Very popular with locals. They provide local hawker food plus some western dishes and so are well done because of their steam loaf of bread/bun. i believed the food was a hit and skip.We ordered an array of western and neighborhood meals and found the neighborhood char alright teow to become a disappointment. Others were okay and the steamed breads, very good. However, this can not be my very first selection for a eating place in Penang.

Experienced the nasi lemak along with rendang. Could have been very fine but the poultry, though prepared through, tasted meaty. Drank a sirap-bandung like drink, that was good. Service had been pretty decent.

Had lunch with the Straits Quay outlet. A big selection on the menus of Malaysian cuisine and beverages. You make your alternatives from the menus, and work with a key/code to create your choice on an order type. Therefore you might be odering a R60 forexample. The staff accumulates your purchase and you also wait for your meal. For a busy Friday lunchtime the provider was reasonably ok. It quickly became obvious that lots of of the employees were foreigners, therefore some miscommunication. The meals was ok. But nothing at all to shout about. Pricing acceptable. It's the sort of spot to go to if you are out of options. Car parking was simple in the multi-tale carpark.

We had a collection lunch nowadays, for RM16,50 per person including beverage and dessert. It had been a decent price-quality, specifically given the location. The chicken curry was very tasty, and alongside it came an extremely nice sambal. Everything tasted very good and homemade.Service has been pretty quick.

I brought two Thai close friends to sample the neighborhood cuisine at PappaRich at the Straits Quay wall plug on Sunday, 4 November 2018. I was thrilled and proud to allow them to attempt our delicious regional cuisine. The meals served by PappaRich however, was a complete disgraceif they're to be representative of Malaysian food. My friends and We ordered Nasi Lemak. We arrived earlier at about 10 am and had been the only second desk there. When our Nasi Lemak had been served, the wealthy was cold, tough and lumpy. This is clearly left-over rice from yesterday. Also it was certainly not prepared with coconut milk which this dish demands. I has been shocked that PappaRich got the audacity to assist its customers with left-over rice. To believe that they cannot even become bothered to steam the rice in order that it would at least end up being warm and soft. We duly complained to the employees concerning the rice. They didn't apologise but decided to serve us a fresh plate with freshly prepared rice. However, once the Nasi Lemak arrived a second period, the rice was therefore soggy that it clumped jointly like Nasi Himpit. It has to function as worst actually Nasi Lemak that I acquired ever endured. It gave a completely bad impact of Malaysian foods to my visiting buddies. Any difficulty . PappaRich is as well lazy to make and serve new rice to its consumer. Even though caught out plus they attempt to make the rice, they fall short miserably. It appears as though they don't even learn how to cook rice properly. I am therefore disgusted with this particular place that I'll tell all my close friends to avoid PappaRich to any extent further.
