We took a brief detour out to go to the stall. It is a brief 15 mins vehicle ride from George City. This wan tan mee stall can be pure nostalgia. It's operate single-handedly by an 82 year older uncle at what I really believe is the entrance porchof his home. Uncle has already been at it since his teenagers, so you can rest assured he understands what he's carrying out. The area is humble, nonetheless it functions. I was really charmed by the area and touched by the enthusiasm of the man, who has difficulty walking but continues to be hard at the job creating scrumptious dishes of wan tan noodles. He likes communicating with the guests and certainly enjoy his work. On to the foods... we tried both soup and the dried out version. The noodles have become inexpensive for RM3 per bowl. The fried wan tans are usually RM0.10 each. The soup is delicious and light, we completed everything. But when you have belly for only 1 bowl, choose the dry version (sadly I didn't have an image of it). The noodles are usually springy and sauce tasty. I've been to numerous Michelin restaurants all over the world but that is one place I cannot stop reminiscing about. Certainly worth a detour. Move, be patient, be type, end up being touched by the interest of uncle, and depart with a belly filled with delicious, old college wan tan noodles.

The only hilight here's his super cheap wantans of them costing only 10 cents each. Uncle will be old but still plying his business so he won't obtain bored. I pay him a lot more than what I eat.
