We were residing at the Shangri-una Rasa Ria and wanted an out there of hotel seafood supper. Friendly is really a short ten moment drive away and when you call the cafe, they will request transport for a nominal (40 return) fee. The restaurant is somewhatrustic and in a position to handle a big crowd. It had been pretty silent the night we proceeded to go, and the meals was excellent. We picked out there a few orders of prawns plus some vegetable meals. We even considered to attempt the pepper lamb dish, despite the fact that this is a seafood eating place. The prawns were completely cooked along with the vegetable meals. The lamb was magnificent. It melted in the mouth area. To best it off, the costs were affordable, much cheaper compared to the Kota Kinabalu pick and choose your personal seafood restaurants. An excellent restaurant and great encounter.

Sea food here's well presented rather than expensive. Guide the aircon room beforehand as amount of tables restricted in the air conditioning area. Sitting beyond your air conditioning room is risky in case you are partial to mosquitoes

We stayed at the Shangri-Una Rasa Ria, and tried Friendly Seafood. It is a short drive aside (using our very own transport). Among the highlights of the place may be the air conditioned space which sets it aside from other local restaurants. The prices are actually reasonable,and you reach choose the seafood from the tanks. We ate in July 2019. Market costs of a few of the meals we ate are: Sapak (Pipis) - 35 ringgit/kg Lobster - 250 ringgit/kg Prawns - 40 ringgit/kg This is simply not fine dining here, it's fairly rustic, but at these prices in comparison to Shangri-La, we can not complain!
