This place is called Nasi Melayu Masjid Terampung @ Malay Rice Floating Mosque. This originated from every Uber driver’s mouth area. In fact the stall is situated across the street from the mosque. Types aplenty. Good crowd. Simply queue up and consider whatever you experience likeeating. My bowl of fried pomfret, pickled 4 angled coffee beans and salted egg price me RM10.

Cost is affordable. But simply your typical nasi campur stall. Nothing at all more specific than that. Located on the solution to Batu Ferrhinghi. Therefore it’s a easy to drop by on the way here. Parking is fairly limited.

This is a right down to earth spot to enjoy delicious curries and several variety of spices. It isn't air-conditioned however the quality of the meals makes up for heat. The internal made salad of several dressings is crucial try. The varietyof curries won't disappoint. This is a self serve restaurant.

That is opposite the floating mosque, cross the street and walk up the hill, on your own left you will have stairs at top is this dingy looking good court. There are some places together that do Malaysian foods and it’s the least expensive placewe have consumed at, there have been mainly locals right here and lots of cops enjoying their meals. We did visit a few tourists as well, the meals was totally incredible, the only cause I didn’t provide it a 5 is basically because the area was dusty and looking for a thorough revamp however the foods is omg tasty! I tried the dark chicken I couldn’t think how yummy that has been! We proceeded to go to the initial stall called Lidiana.

It's super crowded and filled with locals. This location is opened from early morning until soon after noon. They could close early as one to two 2 pm as their food will undoubtedly be sold out! First vacation was at about 1.30pm plus they were still left with justa little bit of meals! we were lucky because they closed following a few more folks ordered. Another trip, we went previously about 12pm. There is more options and what even more, it isn't expensive! Unless you possess nasi kandar, you might have your lunch right here. Even though it's crowded, you can park your car across the slopes and simply walk directly into have your meal. People typically keep around 15-20 mins here, merely to eat and move, so expect an easy change of cars. Value for $. Place is located contrary the floating mosque on the way to batu ferringhi.

This a great spot for authentic Malay food directly opposite the Floating Mosque. There exists a good selection of veggies, seafood and meat choices. The fried poultry and bawal fish certainly are a popular with locals sufficient reason for the kids. Parking could be a problem duringpeak hours nevertheless, you can park across the main road. Gleam big following because of their fried ikan terubok (Chinese Herring). The costs have become reasonable and I've in no way already been disappointing with the meals.

I will always go to Nasi Melayu Lidiana whenever I'm in Penang. The Malay curry variety is tasty - from seafood to meats. Don't forget to place some salad on your own plate. Prices are inexpensive and is cash just. The compromise may be the dining areais a temperature trap.
