Cheap. Worth going. We'd the chicken pie, apple company pie, scones, and banana milkshake. All was great. Good environment.

Scones were delicious and affordable. However, the fierce rather than so pleasant waitresses made us sensed like we had been in school.

The overall experience beginning with being seated by way of a rude hostess, to the tacky decoration, to probably the most uncomfortable chairs, to the meals quality and service was all poor. I visited this place after reading through reviews that discussed the fantastic scones. The sconesare inexpensive but so may be the taste which fits the purchase price. The scones had been dense and fell aside and also the jam to accompany it had been not natural but filled with preservatives. The egg sandwich had 2 blobs of egg that was held as well as some wilted lettuce and cucumber. The hash browns were more of a mash brown and tasteless. If you're searching for a place where one can pay typically RM 3 for a dish but zero flavour and taste ..after that this is actually the place for you personally. You pay for everything you get!! I had to create this review in order that people wouldn't normally waste their time standing in an extended fall into line for 30-45mins for this type of bad experience.

Im not insane over scones therefore i will not touch upon them. Tried the poultry pie - dried out and tasteless. Offered with simply the pie, no part dishes or any work to even assist them with gravy. Dont start to see the fuss and all of the type.

What this location has choosing it ate the costs. They aren’t as inflated as other areas. The scones were good. They had whipped lotion, butter and jam using them. I think maybe a couple of years ago it had been quite quaint and good. Now theplace appears dated and what was previously viewed as charming now appears like it’s a little uncared for. We waited on the actions for about 20 moments before being allow in. As soon as in, everything will be self-service. I’m certain it wouldn’t be hard to restore the appeal and friendliness. But also for now, its pretty good, just not great.

We came here with my children inside 2020 after interstate journey was allowed once again. We arrived at 10.02am, because the place opened in 10am. We used ahead here around a decade ago which was our first-time in many years. Stepping into therestaurant right after heading up several flights of stairs, a good old-timey nostalgic decorated spot greeted all of us. Reminded me of grandparents' locations with rattan chairs, large windows with excellent lighting and old publications in wood shelves. The system here's self-service, where you must write your purchase on a bit of papers with the table quantity on it and deliver it to the counter and create transaction then and there. We ordered scones, the poultry pie, apple company pie, hash browns and egg sandwich. For beverages we had very hot cocoa and tea. Probably we have been just used to basic food and appreciate your time and effort devote by the personnel, which is why I believe the bad reviews are usually exaggerated. The scones had been okay, crumbly in comparison to some I experienced tried before and offered with butter, lotion and jam. The poultry pie was typical, the hash brown got a twist to it since it wasn't the most common supermarket frozen kind I was expecting. That one appeared to be homemade. The egg sandwich is usually similar to what I'd throw together in the home before heading out the entranceway - very easy but tastes like house. Hot cocoa was fairly abundant with my opinion. The costs are super inexpensive, ranging between RM2 - RM5 for the things on the menu. General, everything you get is everything you paid for. We'd no complaints once we have eaten much worse meals than this. The decoration is suitable and considered not the same as other restaurants nowadays. In case you are picky about where you take in your meal and prefer today's, super clean and fresh place, this is simply not for you. The area could use some normal upkeep though. Overall it experienced like Malaysian childhood times kinda atmosphere, where there is nothing fancy and you also made do using what you possess, and was pleased with it. I was looking towards purchasing the spaghetti here when i had it years back when We was a kid. There was previously a Caucasian guy who worked here however, not certain if he is still anymore. Regrettably the spaghetti was removed the menus but I was quite happy with what we'd for breakfast that day time.

We ve visited GOD, THE FATHER s Cafe multiple occasions initially of our stay static in Tanah Rata inside February 2020 and really enjoyed the aged fashioned charme and the truly decent scones. While we've been to cooler, fancier and much more modern places orbetter support (quality of service here's really mixed), this easy, busy, somewhat shabby and sometimes actually hectic church cafe nonetheless seemed like an excellent, unpretentious location for spending rainy hrs while chatting over a mug of tea or coffe plus some scones.

Visited here because critiques were good. It had been ok. We'd scones that have been ok but had much better and the cream had not been real cream. Uncertain I would recommend your time and effort of going, specifically as it’s not necessarily open as they near when theyhave go out of scones.

Hyped place. Queued 1h+, expectations were higher. Upside:prices are low. Downsides:you enter cafe.. No odor of freshly baked cakes, breads or freshly brewed espresso.... Waitress dirigates one to your house with a elegance of a nun in a Catholic boarding college what your location is thepupil. Ok let's focus on the cones. Not really homemade, dry, not really buttery. Industrial chickenpie without flavour. Banana chocolate cake had been moist but no enjoyable flavor. Omelette no flavour. Apple company pie with vanilla ice lotion was good whereas the ice lotion was very little. Drinks Ok(espresso, juices) however, not memorable. Overall not advisable
