I only find out about this cafe from my hubby who was raised in Alor Setar and used to consume here with his household before they moved. When they moved, he attempted to get it for 15 yrs!Finally found it whenever we asked a pal who grew up within SP (she didn't know) who asked her father. We were happy to lastly find this place! Certainly a well-kept key by old-timers.So essentially, we'd the dish my hubby has been raving about: the Assam prawns - huge prawns cooked in sticky Assam sauce - plus they were awesome. Hubby says it's just as he remembered.Additional dishes we tried: sotong goreng tepung, blended veges, ikan goreng halia and gentle tofu. I must say i enjoyed the flavor of the meals. Definitely recommended as most likely the best muslim-friendly Chinese meals in SP.
