Located within the hardly inhabited 19 USJ Town Mall, this cafe is a relatively brand new branch associated with Chong Heng in Aged Klang Street (NewCom Building). However, there's one factor... this restaurant is nearly always empty. That is largely because of the location andnot the meals quality or flavor. Having an identical menu with their flagship store in Old Klang Street, the apple shouldn't fall definately not its tree when it comes to taste, cooking precision and quality. Due to the insufficient human traffic, the eating place struggles to display any live life fish selection in addition to the common tilapia seafood. Many unfortunate but that didn't deter us from providing it a go. We purchased a fried tofu drizzled with minced pork meats, steamed kampung poultry, claypot curry fish mind & a boiled soup with spinach & wolf berries. The soup was just a little off since it tasted just like the soup foundation from the Cantonese fried noodle but at the very least the spinach was fresh and tasty. The tofu had been delicious, crunchy externally yet smooth and smooth inside. The steamed kampung poultry was lovely. Completely steamed and managed a consistant juicy consistency and taste throughout. The winner was the claypot curry fish mind despite none folks being truly a fan of fish heads. The curry has been creamy, flavourful & fragrant. It do lack spiciness but which can be very easily fixed by adding your personal chili powder or simply dumping in a few cili padi. Everyone additional extra rice merely to soak up just as much curry because they could. Total bill came around RM130 for 4 grown ups including a pot of Chinese tea. Not really the least expensive eatery but worth spending money on the product quality and taste. Will certainly return again as well as perhaps try purchasing curry fish rather than fish head.
