Lesung Batu was among the earlier restaurants established inside the Denai Alam neighbourhood. It has seen much better days and competitors is tight from brand-new restaurants in Boulevard. Even though Lesung Batu still includes a loyal clientele since it gives ease of usage of goodlocal foods to nearby inhabitants. The restaurant includes a hodge podge of stalls promoting local delicacies amongst others satay, otak-otak and fried noodles/rice. It is Ramadan right now and the most common rice and noodle stations are closed (maybe once and for all) but satay and the otak-otak/kerepok lekor stalls are doing quite nicely.

Waited for nearly 1 hr. Smudged service. Waiter most likely forgot to purchase at kitchen. Several tables complaining. Lambat giler. It is a shame coz I reside nearby.
