Sugar Rush would be absolutely detrimental to my health and fitness if live close by! We were in the area and had a serious hankering for some sugar, this is just the kind of place you want to indulge your sweet tooth with their luscious treats. They have the sort of cakes that makes obesity seem like a small price to pay. Lemon Poppyseed, Coffee Oreo Peanut Butter and Prune Crumble Layer Cake are the ones we decided on. Get 1, get 2....No ifs, no buts. Just try it. We could quite happily waste away an entire Sunday afternoon here because they have so many types and flavours!. Order and pay at counter. Cash only. Tip: Their interior and furnitures are in black, lots of mozzies indoors. Roll some repellant on. They are open from 3Pm on weekdays, 11Am on weekends.

Craving for cakes (especially the buttercream ones) at night but have no idea where to get them? Try out Sugar Rush at Section 16 Petaling Jaya. The dessert parlour serves an assortment of freshly baked cakes and sweet treats, beautifully displayed on a table runway. It opens till late, from 4pm-12am on weekdays and 11am-12am on Sat and Sun. So, don't worry, you can get your buttercream cake craving fixed even during late at night.

Cakes are dissatisfyingly dry, for a place that positions itself as a cake specialty haunt. Albeit having a wide selection, the cakes seem to just be changing colours and names with a consistent dryness that is observable.The only impressive thing was the ambience.

Expansive variety of cakes & desserts, they all looked amazing! Anybody with a sweet tooth would be spoiled for choices 😱 Churros were abit too doughy but had a great taste to it.

I do feel like this place is overrated. The cakes are pricey and they don't taste any different than cakes you can get at any good bakeries. The first time we were here the cakes were so dry we felt cheated. We went again recently at their new location although the brownie isn't bad it wasn't that special either. I feel like this place is really pricey with subpar tasting cakes.

Very very nice ambient especially during the night. Wide selection of cakes on counter. I like!! Personal fav choc cheese stack! Exterior was great, worry not, they have plenty parking space.

They started out at Damansara Heights before relocating to their current location as they had to make way for the new Pavilion mall. My sister commented that it wasn't great but being the rebel that I am and since there was time to burn before the work week started, I decided to check the place out.

Love the location, at a corner house at section 16. Great place for tea or desserts. Parking within the compound is limited though.The cake display on the long table is mouth watering.Had the Chocolate Ganache. Beautiful cake, chocolatey and sweet.

Omg I'm glad that I passed by this place. Its truly a hidden gem for sweet tooth like meh! Lol. Very beautiful interior and deco, very inviting! I love how they displays all the cakes on one designated long table. Very presentable. I opted for the brownies and latte on my first visit and it wasn't bad at all! I want to come again to taste other variations that they have!

They serve good iced black. Perfect interior which is totally insta worthy. They could have offer better quality of cakes with their price. Many choices. Perfect for an afternoon laze .
