Have two Mini Pablo and a Classic cheese tart drink.. Had the mini tart because the original size cheese tart was quite on the pricey side it was almost to RM50. Would be nice if there are places to sit to enjoy the food.

Let’s hail the Japan Famous Pablo Cheese tart originated from Osaka Japan that is making huge waves of hype that had been busy spreading their wings over South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippine, Indonesia and finally landed its first outlet at 1 Utama, PJ. They will be operating from 6th December on wards and be prepared to queue with the rest of the crazy cheese tart lovers out there.

We went there really really early to beat the long queue.. There were probably 15 people in front of us when we got there.. Still not too bad.. We queued for about 20-30mins or so..I didn't like the lemon glaze on top.. Was struggling to finish it.. Still prefer Tokyo.. But that's just me..

The most anticipated cheese tart chain – Pablo Cheese Tart has finally reached Malaysia at 1 Utama‘s Old Wing. Pablo Cheese Tart originated from Osaka and they managed to expand to other Asian countries such as South Korea, Thailand and Indonesia in less than 2 years. We are not the first but at least we are ahead of Singapore, heh.

It's seriously amazing how Pablo's reputation has preceded itself, because whether in the Philippines when it first opened in Robinson's or here in Malaysia, the customers are bracing the queues. My friend, who didn't know we already have this in the Philippines brought me here to buy a whole classic cheesecake instead of the minis with variants which would give you a taste of different flavours. The good thing about this shop here is it offers more than the signature product, which really makes queueing up worth it. True to Japanese taste and consistency, Pablo cheesecake would give you a glimpse on how they prefer their dessert - not too sweet, not to heavy on any flavours, just light. So if you have sweet tooth or used to extreme tastes, you might not accord Pablo a high rating LOL! Let's face it, it's expensive and the size of their whole is (if you have a good appetite like moi) just good for 2 pax :D . It's best to eat this with Your usual hot tea, it complements the cheese-y flavour ;)

Tried the Pablo cheesecake which they are famous for. Liked the cheese filling a lot - very creamy, but yet light at the same time. But as I don't usually prefer sweet, found the crust / pastry to be a bit sweet. Also tried the matcha cheese wafer - not a fan.. too bitter without any cheese flavour.

Get to taste the mini cheese tart this time. There weren't as many people as before. Wanted to try them during my first visit but were sold out, and so I had the big one instead. Comparing both, I would prefer the mini tart as it's more flavourful. The big tart was kinda light and lack of taste, may be a little pricy for it.

I had tried the original cheese cake in Japan which was awesome. So very excited when they open the first branch in Malaysia. So far had tried the chocolate and matcha cheese cake, overall is not bad. However the cheesy drink was not that nice, taste like medicine

I now completely understand the hype surrounding Pablo. Ive tried several cheesetart shops in KL and I can say that Pablo is the best. I love how the cheese oozes out from one bite. YUMMMMMY!

I love cheesecakes and have tried all kinds of cheese cakes. The thing is, the Japanese have proven repeatedly that they always seem to make things way better. Pablo's tarts evoked a Smace (a smile and a grimace) on my face simultaneously. They are undeniably exquisite but expensive. 3 mini tarts + a Matcha Ice Cream in a cone = RM40.60. I was swooning with pleasure at first bite, now this is a tart you would want to eat in hiding so no one asks you for a bite. Even their Matcha soft serve is earth shatteringly good!
