The most anticipated cheese tart chain – Pablo Cheese Tart has finally reached Malaysia at 1 Utama‘s Old Wing. Pablo Cheese Tart originated from Osaka and they managed to expand to other Asian countries such as South Korea, Thailand and Indonesia in less than 2 years. We are not the first but at least we are ahead of Singapore, heh.

It's seriously amazing how Pablo's reputation has preceded itself, because whether in the Philippines when it first opened in Robinson's or here in Malaysia, the customers are bracing the queues. My friend, who didn't know we already have this in the Philippines brought me here to buy a whole classic cheesecake instead of the minis with variants which would give you a taste of different flavours. The good thing about this shop here is it offers more than the signature product, which really makes queueing up worth it. True to Japanese taste and consistency, Pablo cheesecake would give you a glimpse on how they prefer their dessert - not too sweet, not to heavy on any flavours, just light. So if you have sweet tooth or used to extreme tastes, you might not accord Pablo a high rating LOL! Let's face it, it's expensive and the size of their whole is (if you have a good appetite like moi) just good for 2 pax :D . It's best to eat this with Your usual hot tea, it complements the cheese-y flavour ;)
