If you're looking for the usual affordable mamak shop, this ain't for you. But the roti tisu here is to die for - ask for sweet and crispy! Also, the dhal and curry served here enhanced the flavour of the roti(s). Avoid coming here on Thursday night - difficult to find parking bcos of the night market nearby.

One of the top notch Mamak in town. This branch is better since they have an area with aircond. Their Nasi Kandar is never cheap - I paid RM12 for two piece of fried chicken. Opt for this since there is no tandoori. Cendol with 90% ice costs RM4.50. I love tosai . & I conclude that Kayu serves the best tosai in town - thin, fragrant & in huge portion. The price leans on the higher side but it's worth it. Their maggi goreng has nothing to shout about but hearty in portion. They are famous for their long roti tisu ( around rm12) which is good for group sharing.

First try roti Telugu here, although the price is little expensive than mamak, but I still recommend it to those really like roti telur. The roti size is value too for money with the bigger size of it, I will recommend this Indian restaurant as the most must try Indian food restaurant in pj .

Environment: 4/5The space is very clean and tidy, lots of seating space and has a open kitchen. Food: 4.5/5This is my top go to for Roti Canai, although it’s on the pricy side. Hospitality: 4/5Staffs are friendly, although is harder to get your order in when the restaurant is busy.

Looooove this place! Food is so yum! Giant tissue pancake is quite the sight to behold, and tasty as well. Stretched tea is delicious too, definitely recommend it to everyone!

Mamak shop of the VIPs.The food is good and place looks polished. They serve everything that you can find in an ordinary mamak shop. The nasi kandar Kayu however is something you shouldn't miss trying. The food and drinks is overpriced but it compensates for the restaurants quality.Love the fried chicken and the fried sotong.Parking is a headache around the area.I personally recommend parking near the housing areas and walking to the restaurant.Cheers.

Food is alright. Still can't beat ipoh nasi kandar/ganja and Penang's. Overpriced compared to other nasi kandar. Can eat once in awhile though

Their nasi kandar and nasi biryani is to die for. Even as a vegetarian I love their biryani rice and the Penang flavours which are mouth watering. The naan is also quite good. The prices are a bit too high but that's the price you pay for good food.

Honestly, overpriced for a mamak. The taste is there and it's one of the better mamaks, but the price doesn't justify it. Service is great though and staff are generally very friendly 😊

We found this place by accident because the restaurant we were looking for closed down. Glad to have found this great restaurant! Food is authentic, very reasonable price, and if you have a big appetite, this will definitely fill you up! Nasi Kandar is Malay-Indian food so expect your food to be covered in curry sauce!
