Popped over with friends to this eatery where it speaks about traditional authentic Malaysian food.. The kind of food which simply will delight my true typical Malaysian palate, I of course didn't hesitate to order the Assam Laksa. Regarded as super tasty with its spicy and tangy flavours, every bit I polished off. Other half meanwhile struggled with the big portion of Lamb Beriyani, not so much with the rice, but the huge lamb piece by itself. So, yours truly helped out a bit, we agreed its a nice meal though begging for some spiciness. The other two friends, one had mamak mee goreng with fried chicken and the other nasi lemak. Quite a hearty portion both of these dishes, friends loved the tastes. Sipping into the coffee, hot milo, coca-cola and ice lemon tea, no doubt food was a joy but personally, I feel its rather pricey.

Classic .... establishment at the Airport.Always a welcome sight to see National food on display at an airport.Good service, good set up, easy Menu to look at since 1957.Foodwise, even before 6 pm many on the Menu weren't available, so we went with Teh Tarik, Jasmine Tea, Toast Roti Kaya and Samosa. All good, excessive Butter on the Kaya and Thai Sweet and Chilly sauce for those Samosas, perhaps Peanuts or Sweet Soy Chilly would be better and more authentic.Price wise, at least double from downtown KL but it's okay.

You know what. I like this place. I know the name is kinda corny. But it suggest what the restaurant intends it to be: An alternative to mamak - the kopitiam. Been here once for tea and a chat. The ambiance is nice and fitting of its name. As of it's menu. So I had the ubi rebus - Ok2, the ubi was warm. Will come again for an entrée.

The ambience is good. Nice to hang out and have small talk with partner or friends. Ordered Mee Rebus and Assam Laksa. Not really into their Assam Laksa because maybe my taste bud can only accept Laksa Penang 😅. The Mee Rebus is quite okay lah. A lot of sliced meat but the kuah is too thick I think. I ordered Kopi O Muar 434 as the drink. Kaw as usual but it is not presentable as I expected. Overall, ok lah.
