Fifth Palate is an one of a kind cafe which did its fusion of Australian and Malaysian cuisines justice. As a person who is familiar with Australia's food and their brunch, I found Fifth Palate's twist surprisingly close to home and advocates what Malaysia has to offer. Location is a bit inconvenient but if you are a true website, it is definitely a "must eat" place. Fifth Palate is one of the few places in Malaysia where both locals and tourists must come and try!

Loved this place!! Great ambience, music and lighting for pictures. Friendly staff and good prices too!! I had The Washington waffles, it was really yummy, crisp golden brown waffles, plated well, with two scoops of ice cream. 10/10 would recommend, will be back.

Love the ambience & food over there! Carbonara & the ramen worth trying! It’s a good place for Sunday brunch. But I hope that they could improve the speed of serving because I can finish a main course while waiting for another.

imagine a place with good food but bad service. Waited for an hour for my food - butchers breakfast. after such long wait, only the sausage and hasbrown is not but the rest is stone cold. Don't see the point of waiting for an hour. also comes with burnt croissant.

Always love to get my coffee here. You can get nice food at reasonable prices. Their lunch sets on Monday-Friday are pretty good too. The only minor setback is sometimes you have to wait a little longer for your food

Highly recommended. This place has good ambience, great service and excellent food. Homemade yogurt and the Australian/Malaysian fusion is a bonus. A must for all foodies in PJ.

Visiting this cafe from Australia. Though the many options Fifth Palate offers are similar to ours, they always make each dish unique; fusing both Malaysian and Western cuisines together. Friendly service and good ambience makes the place a hidden gem in the whole of PJ.

Visited this outlet a while back and was quite pleased with the dining experience. The first thing that catches your eye definitely is the industrial look - the owners put a lot of thought into how they wanted the cafe to feel, and it is evident from the moment you step in. Glass panels surround the two main outward facing walls, and this lets a generous amount of natural light in. I immediately felt comfortable here, and proceeded to order two very juxtaposing dishes - the Butchers Breakfast and Everybody Loves Ramen. The Butchers Breakfast is, with lack of a better word, your typical big breakfast platter - potatoes, eggs, sausages and mushrooms. If you're a fan of this type of food, then the Butchers Breakfast is right up your alley. I personally am not a fan of these platters and opted for the Everybody Loves Ramen. To be honest, I was never a big Ramen fan either, but I took a gamble on this order and found the dish quite satisfying. The egg is cooked well (runny in the middle), and the broth is quite flavorful, but would I return for this dish? Probably not. Food aside, I always feel that coffee should be the litmus test for any new coffee shop, and personally believe that if you can't even serve a good Americano then you're in the wrong business. I'm pleased to say that the coffee at Fifth Palate was great. Served at a drinkable temperature - not scalding hot like some coffee shops - the coffee was well pulled and the aroma was brilliant. All in all, I'd definitely return one day - perhaps not for a meal, but definitely for a coffee. Ambiance wise, it ticks all the boxes, and the warm and welcoming feel you get when you step in is the thing that will bring me back.

Fifth palate is a light and bright cafe with friendly staffs, we liked the white walled exposed bricks cozy corner. It is a great place to hang out for a while or while away your Saturday afternoon. There is a nice space outside for those who likes Alfresco dining. The cafe serves a range of both naughty and nice breakfast dishes. If your blood-sugar levels need an instantaneous boost and you can’t face the day without Babe either, get the Drunken Frenchman- French toast served with Guinness, caramelized bananas, peanut butter and bacon with vanilla ice cream. Talk about transgressive breakfast nirvana.! You know it’s going to be good when there is Drunken on the menu😍. Right now they are also serving Nasi Lemak-Pandan infused coconut rice with Pork Rendang, Fried Squid till the 18th of September. It was pretty darn SEDAP. Or be a traditionalist and choose from traditional options like Eggs benedicts with a side of salad. So round up the troops and treat yourself to a delicious weekend brunch. Parking is very easy and it is free.

The ambience is great, very chilling. I love the breakfast, ice chocolate was just nice not too sweet. The love the homemade yogurt, it was smooth and just the right amount of sweetness.
