Us ate at Rose Banana Leaf maybe once or twice during our current stay in Sandakan. Food is Southern Indian / Malaysian, and we really liked it. We'd Thosai (Dosa), Rotis, Rice, Soups, Claypot poultry, Banana Leaf set foods with rice, poultry curry,vegetables. Everything we had there is very good. Owner is quite friendly, when we have there been he gave us examples of things to try. Highly recommended if you are within the area. They will have a branch in Kota Kinabalu aswell, which inturn we didn't obtain time to try.
