If you are residing at the National Recreation area, chances are you will undoubtedly be having your breakfast and lunch time buffet as of this restaurant. Buffet pass on isn't that varied but supplied a stability between western and regional cuisine. Try their edition of 'tuhau goreng', it wasreally delicious. The cafe provides a very comfy resting location after your descend from Mount Kinabalu. The eating place is very near to the National Recreation area office where in fact the prayer area and open public toilet is located.

LOCATION: It really is in the substance of the Kinabalu Recreation area. About min walk in case you are residing at the hostel or additional chalet / resort. They have several table that provides nice natural outdoor view. FOOD: Food is so-thus only. They will have a selectionof 10 +/- meals to choose from. There is also a salad bar n breads counter. For breakfast they will have a chef that produce the egg; you could have scrambled egg, sunny egg or omelet. SERVICE: Very friendly employees and in a position to accommodate. When i came within i ask the person at the counter for drinking water to be fill to my drinking water handbag, he said they just have hot boiled drinking water. After he still left, i ask other personnel, they happily fill up my water handbag with warm water. PRICE: RM 50-70 for the buffet is certainly not affordability. But our package includes 1 buffet breakfast, supper and lunch time (we missed this)

We spent there the night time prior to the climbing of mt. KINABALU: the supper was a self-services buffet. Food of moderate quality: tipical and nearby dishes, fruits and loaf of bread. We compensated 85RM for a bottle of whitened wine (seen the cost of alchool there, it wasnormal). The day directly after we had breakfast and the next time we conclused our experience there with the lunch time: same opinion for these other two meals that people had there. We spent the night time in a boungalow close to the forest, quite beautiful and tipical: clear, and comfortable. (Overall price for just two 2 individuals for the Mt. KINABALU ascension is definitely pretty much 3000 RM: 2200 RM for the area and foods, 400 RM permissions, 240 RM for the tutorial, and sone other small stuff that i really do not remember now).

Some of the meals tasted saltier than usual and choice continues to be okay - trained with being inside the mountainous ares.

Got our buffet breakfast right here before provided hike.nicely spread with local flavor, Nasi lemak was great and will even try making use of their chicken curry. Eggs ready with toast for the power needed. Had our lunch as soon as down and was properly spread. The bitter gourdand their chicken with ginger was good with rice . Staffs have to be credited because of their friendly and always smiling.

Though I see even more western food here, actually the food aren't bad at all. If you're a coffee lover, you'll like the coffee maker where one can have your preferred cupuccino or latte. There's breads, salad, bubur cha cha, fried rice. The spagetti is nice. A lot of fresh fruits as well. It is extremely cooling right here. Breakfast is 40.00, lunch time is 55.00 and supper is 65.00, all inside buffet style

The Balsam is in Mt. Kinabula Park close to the entrance. After a early morning of hiking different trails nearby our guidebook dropped us right here for lunch time buffet. I cannot touch upon value since it was including a package visit. The food was typical and whilenothing particular the buffet acquired a decent variety ideal for most taste choices, which includes salads and desserts. The restaurant and meals serving areas were extremely clean and buffet taken care of. For us only a short lunch end to refuel and we sat on the terrace and liked the nice sights of the mountain and the forest surrounds. The employees was helpful and the coffee popular and strong. I'd not create a special stop right here for a meal however the location comfort in the recreation area and nice view managed to get very good.

This restaurant is situated right over the National Park building. Since we had the complete trip booked with the Borneo Trails, the lunch time here was contained in the package. We assume the tiredness from just how lower and the hurry to keep impacts the perceptionof this eating place, and we have been no different... We had the beer, ate something and still left in under 30mins. Foods was nothing to send a letter home about, aside from the banana cake fritters(?).

My spouse thought the meals was alright but there have been no choices for kids. Aside from toast which my boy got for breakfast, lunch time and dinner. Nonetheless it does do a satisfactory job if you're a hiker like me who required something after theclimb.

As we purchase a bundle climbing to Kinabalu from SUTERA SANCTUARY LODGES we get yourself a packed lunch time (English toast bread design sandwich, an egg, 2 apples, 3 cookies, the poultry wing and a little bottle of water) prior to going up. When we drop fromKinabalu, we've buffet lunch, there exists a great selection of tasty food.
