First timer right here. The restaurant participate in a Sarawakian couple. Great customer service and indigenous ambience. Must attempt the Umai (raw seafood with onions and lemon). Should come again.

My 1st stop by at this Borneo concept eating place following a friend's recommended it. And I was not at all disappointed. Excellent dish options with quite definitely reasonable pricing. Specifically liked the chicken prepared in bamboo (ayam pansoh), umai (taste similar to japan Shasimi) andmy preferred, the Sarawak Laksa.

Great environment and is an excellent place for gathering. The majority of the meals are village design and taste is specific, weighed against malay food. Cost is on a bit upper edge. Nevertheless, worth to use once

I've find out about this restaurant because it started it's company. Therefore, I thought it will be nice to provide it a go. Location isn't that difficult to find for KL city center dwellers like me. LOL. Ambiance is great. The cafe can be air-conditioned butit's not so cold. Just great, IMHO. The decoration exude that Sarawak feel without difficulty with some images and a lot of Sarawak's crafts and some other items on the market at one aspect of the eating place. The most significant items that amused me will be the tobacco and rolled palm leaf older folks use to smoke cigarettes... Hard to note that anywhere any more... And that famous walls painting of a Bidayuh and an Iban ladies gave the cafe its signature. Service has been alright. Our purchase was taken rapidly and patiently but we do wait just a little for the food. We'd to describe what we intended by unsweetened espresso though... The waitresses going to to us were affected person, friendly and courteous. We ordered the fern best with chilli and prawn paste and poultry cooked inside bamboo with rice and laksa Sarawak. I have to say they're good although a little bit of enhancement would ensure it is nicer. The fern best had an excessive amount of prawn paste inside it making it instead saltier than it must be. The laksa Sarawak will be i'm all over this! We furthermore ordered some meals to take home specifically the "dabai" fried rice and kolo mee. I must say both are perfect specifically the kolo mee. Similar to the classic kolo mee back in Sarawak itself! Foods is halal therefore the kolo mee was included with slices of poultry char siew. Hubby said: worth the repeat visit!

It's hard to skip this eating place with it's nondescript external and slightly hidden place. We glad we discovered it. I'm no expert at Sarawakian meals but I could discern good foods from the poor and Javian Kitchen's homey fares certainly tickled my tastebuds. Welove the Ka Chiang Ma poultry, Pangsuh poultry, the umai dishes, midin, terung dayak and several other fares served as of this restaurant. Highly recommend.
