We have been eating at Good fortune Kee for a long time and are glad they will have a website web page. This family style cafe has barely changed through the years and the regulars are usually happy to order with out a menu as much do at old college institutionslike this. In addition to the duck that is very tasty, the seafood here's great; specifically the crab that you can order a variety of ways - among our favourites may be the kam heong edition. A literal translation of kam heong can be golden fragrance - reflective of the strong flavours from the curry leaf, curry powder, shallots, garlic, dried shrimp and chilli utilized to prepare the dish. They also carry out excellent deep fried whole fish, sweet and sour pork and fluffy omelettes cooked with bitter gourd or loofah melon (an extremely Cantonese style dish). Luck Kee is definitely our first dinner when visiting family inside PJ. Independent loved ones run places such as this have virtually disappeared from the Singapore meals scene. I am hoping they continue working for a good very long time in PJ.

don't be defer with the countless customers when you are for supper there. they serve foods real fast and it's delicious. you probably heard about many famous roast duck dining places around PJ, but I could tell you this eating place have the very best roast duckever. the roast duck stall is beyond your restaurant but it's area of the restaurant. tofu, seafood, stew pork, every meals you order here's great. test it out for, no regret. if you go recent 8 pm, you might not obtain the Roast duck, since it comes out pretty quickly. go in team so that you can order even more food to try. parking , just park contrary the GIANT supermarket, and just pay 2/3RM.

We ordered the freshwater steamed fish @ 800g, stif fried bok choy and the tofu - and the costs was RM140! You can visit a more upscale seafood eating place with better foods and pricing.

We (my partner & We) were invited to the cafe by my brother-in-law who was simply celebrating his birthday. To begin with, we were proven to our desk that nevertheless had the continues to be of foods and cutlery left by the prior diners. It toosomeone nearly 10 minutes to completely clean up the mess in order that we could lastly sit down. Then it had been another 15 min just before our meals orders were taken. The initial dish got another 20 mins to reach, but between your first and final dish has been 35 mins. Food had been cold (cooked and left aside), and high quality was horrible (understatement). Even refiling our glasses of tea took excellent effort...................HOWEVER WHEN WE ASKED FOR THE Costs, THE RESPONSE Has been INSTANTANEOUS.

Just one phrase to spell it out this restaurant : "TERRIBLE" 1. Services is downright non-existent. Understaffed and bad response. 2. Food quality isn't even hawker standard, only a lowly home prepared standard. 3. Price is indeed exorbitant for like substandard meals. I ordered yam band(with substandard substances of mainly carrot), a bowl of bayam, and marmite pork rib (i counted, 6 small parts to be exact) arises to RM85, that you can get for under RM50 in one cafe opposite it. My mistake for not really asking the purchase price before ordering, although price isn't displayed on the menus at all. I may accept the purchase price if the meals tastes good, however the food is merely home cooked regular. Imagine components in the yam band: mainly carrots, no cashew nuts, few tiny bits of meat), like cheapskate ingredients. Initial and last time actually I'll visit this restaurant. Nothing you've seen prior have I felt therefore ripped off and disappointed with a eating place till I have to write an assessment to warn others.

We were here for basic dinner - had curry seafood head and veggies. It’s not fantastic however, not poor either. Curry isn't very thick type to match Chinese’s tastebuds I assume but Personally, i prefer it to end up being thicker. It’s not the type ofplace where one can set high anticipations - just best for neighbourhood crowd to obtain quick dinner
