This popular restaurant faces the TAMAN MEGAH market and the former MingTein food court which includes since been demolished to create way for something apartment development. They serve a large selection of dim sum that is tasty rivaling a few of the competent hotelrestaurants. Their loh mai kai char Siew pao is quite nice. Price is method above average.

Nice basic Dim Sum however the price is a little bit challenging. Each plate will definitely cost at least RM5 minimum and the store hygiene could be improved.

Essential Hiong has been around the community for a long period. My family continued a Sunday afternoon because of their Big Pau. Sadly for all of us, both their Huge Pau and Sang Nyuk Pau had been sold out. What caught my attention was the Chicken Wo Bun,basically a Loh Mai Kai wrapped in a bun dough to resemble a Nest. We choose takeaway 2 x Poultry Wo Bun, 2 x Char Siew Pau, and Fried Sesame Ball. Total damage RM 25. Chicken Wo Bun had been disappointing at RM 7.50 a bit, because the Loh Mai Kai does not have much meat filling.
