A long time ago, about sixty years back, there have been 4 renowned dim sum outlets inside KL Chinatown. The son-in-regulation and grandson of the initial Kam Lun Tai in Jalan Sultan today assist their divine char siew pau and lor mai kai in Dataran Sunway.They're well-known for their moon cakes and created the initial black tim cheong. Nowadays for lunch, my spouse and I fed on Cantonese design ling yong at Rm15. Fried radish cake has been RM6 and abalone lor mai kai Rm8.50. Char wong tea had been Rm3 per pax. Western dishes like poultry chop and pasta may also be available.

I was thus excited when I then found out there is a Kam Lun Tai eating place. I knew the title from it and their mooncakes. They offer dim sum within their restaurant. Therefore we tried nowadays. The chicken foot and porb ribs had been quite tasty.Nevertheless the steamed prawn dumpling and those with chives has actually simply no taste. The fried radish cake has been okay; who would fail in frying! I had been disappointed in the flavor. I assume I had too much hopes. Oh plus they haven't any MUSTARD for dim sum. So incorrect. Plus, the waiters didn’t even know what's mustard 🤦🏼‍♀️
