Gantetsu Hokkaido Ramen

My favourite Senya cafe at Isetan was closed for renovation therefore i went next doorway to the Hokkaido ramen restaurant. Having sampled some other ramen restaurants around, I am uncertain if this one could be on par. It had been my first time. Assistance wasfast and friendly, and the ramen came quickly. The yellowish ramen was springy though it had been soaked in the soup for an excellent 10 min (I has been looking forward to the complementary gyoza). The teriyaki chicken sweetness blended with the miso broth had been excellent. The broth had not been too salty when i thought it could and that produced the difference. It acquired a tinge of miso flavor and went properly with the garnish of wooden ear canal fungus, the ajitsuke tamago (marinated gentle boiled egg) and springtime onion. The gyoza that arrived wasn't that bad aswell. Overall, my lunch time was pretty good.

I needed to see easily can get good, authentic Japanese ramen in Malaysia and Gantetsu was the initial place I try. Truthfully, the ramen will be disappointing. The noodle is merely instant noodle, not really ramen, the soup isn't boiled broth but once again quick noodlebroth. The ChaSiu flavor horrible. Overall, nothing beats what I got in Japan. For RM 29.90 a bowl, it’s costly, overpriced for a plate of instant noodle. Not really recommended.

We ordered a number of ramen, dumpling, Japanese curry rice with fried ebi (prawn) tempura and in addition rice with unagi or even eels ... turns our very nice for an instant meal. Service is great coz they're fast. Taste okay for meals. And quitereasonably priced
