I'd consider Dubu Dubu a Korean junk food outlet. The menus is small with very little options but it's best for an instant Korean fix plus I'm always fascinated with the purple Dubu rice they used in their meals. I always choose the dol sot bibimbap, that is a combination of different vegetables seated atop a mattress of Dubu rice and includes a nice/spicy Korean sauce which makes the entire dish! Because bibimbap is among my most preferred korean dishes, We've had the opportunity to try bibimbaps from other Korean restuarants and I have to state that Dubu Dubu's is among the worst types available. The rice is definitely burnt in the bottom for reasons uknown and there's never enough sauce. The bf ordered the Honey Garlic Bulgogi Beef/Chicken set (another indicate note is that it's always easier to order the set, price difference between ala carte and set is similar to 2-3RM however the set offers you a plate of rice and 'banchan' which are 3 side bowls of the day). The beef was just a little overcooked for my bf. It had been super tough and couldn't really flavor the honey too. With regards to the ambience, if you're into K-pop, Dubu Dubu shows a continuous blast of K pop songs and videos on the TV displays hung upon the wall space of the restaurant. This restaurant must serve more meat - for the purchase price im paying I don't feel just like I'm getting sufficient - but We see this since a Korean junk food outlet, instead of a Korean dining eating place. Notice the difference?

I came to find out about Dubu Dubu from my pal, who's also crazy more than Korean and spicy foods - identical to me. Dubu Dubu is situated next the meals Republic in a single Utama (New Wing). The area is vivid and spacious, and the servers are usually always very friendly. Individually, I felt Dubu Dubu is a lot more of an easy food concept. They will have some types on the menu however, not expansion. I was suggested to use the Kimchi Jiggae by my pal, so I went forward and purchased it. The kimchi jiggae has been certainly spicy, but I sensed the heat originated from the ginger rather than the kimchi. I perform nothing like the kimchi jiggae but I really like the purple rice that was included with the dish. It's a lot more healthier than whitened rice and I love the consistency of the purple rice a whole lot. They will have ala carte and set on the menu, but it's advisable to really have the established instead. With a cost distinction of RM2-RM3, you'll be obtaining the side meals and a plate of rice. Overall, Dubu Dubu may not be as authentic as a number of the Korean dining places, but they definitely are usually the spot to be if you wish to have an instant fix for the Korean food cravings.

I'm in AWE with this particular place. Ok properly I know some people might think that that is just another Korean eating place but well, I really like it! I such as how they will have set meals for a few of us who would like to try almost anything they offered within their menus. That's an excellent way to take action :) It is a location best for big groupings because their set menus can cater around 3-4 pax. Just have more of the sets and reveal around! I really like their Pajeon (Pancake), sundubu chigae, their Poultry WINGS, their Honey glazed Poultry therefore much more! I really like how they serve dark brown rice instead of white-colored rice! It's so a lot of a better choice for those which are health conscious :) Ideal for elderlies too! Their food service is actually prompt aswell. Minutes after the purchase was taken, we curently have our drinks, or more next will undoubtedly be our food! WHEN I was really starving, it certainly helped and I had been feeling so blessed to possess such good foods lying before me! I'll definitely patron this location again and again!

This is actually the second time we consume at Dubu Dubu. I like the reality that they will have a promo dinner that you could share and the price is pretty decent. The restaurant is fairly big and the pre produced set they offer is quite filling. The lunch time for just two for only RM32 is my favourite :) My boyfriend had the Honey Garlic Bulgogi and I've the Spicy Seafood Ramyeon. Both very tasty with the next option being very spicy. The personnel is pretty wonderful but a little slower and my only family pet peeve is if they can hardly understand us because of the language barrier. I like the cafe and I'll definitely return back but one factor to bear in mind is the portion dimension. The Bulgogi is fairly small if you are starving to select something extra privately of select the Ramyeon since it quite large.

I've just been here once and its own like my first-time trying Korean meals. Though it had been a weekend break afternoon, there have been quiye several empty chairs around. My pal and I made a decision to give the location a go since he wants Korean foods. The menu was quite simple and simple as there are many models and ala carte foods. I always choose the hard lean meats between poultry and beef. If im not really mistaken I proceeded to go for the Honey garlic poultry set meal. The meals arrived quite quick though are you aware that taste, I would state "meh". Its just okay. Possibly thats how Korean meals tasted like or instead the restaurant had not been up to par for this? The pricing however was sensible but I noticed the portion has been becoming smaller and smaller after scrollong through my friends feed probably because of our tax and cost!
