Excellent char siu and siu yuk. Even the veggies and the poultry were a reduce above the most common. Pandan barley was excellent and refreshing. Services was reasonably fast. Costs are a bit greater than usual and car parking can be a issue unless youdon't mind car parking far. But also for such top quality meat, I am coming again.

I normally avoid pork because of personal selection but this location has broken the principle this time around. I had nearly a plate with flavoursome, crispy outside yet succulent inside pork. Recommend!

I got taken up to Boon Signature Roast Pork by way of a friend who was simply telling me regarding their Iberico roast pork. We ordered roast pork, the Iberico roast pork and char siew in addition to a bowl of salted veggie and pork soup. The roastmeats were excellent. The big issue though was if the Iberico has been noticeably better. It had been better but I’m uncertain it was really worth the price difference. The chat siew was terrific - juicy, sweet with the ideal degree of slightly burnt bits. Overall, excellent.

Good food, great quick service, reasonably pricing. Apart from all of the positive, parking could be a issue during peak hrs, but one can generally avail of the 1-hour totally free in Atria underground.

I knew regarding Boon when my pal told me concerning this siew yuk provider whom he got provide from. The proprietor in fact were only available in Kota Damansara but because of the not-so-ideal area, he shut it and marketed roasted pork tummy at pasar Malam before decidingto have got another move at the current place in Damansara Jaya. Their piece-de-resistance would be the roasted pork belly or what we Chinese called "siew yuk". For me personally, the best little bit of siew yuk includes 5 layer of body fat and lean meats, with crunchy skin at the top.. or loaded with the fundamental flavour nevertheless with crunchy skin at the top. Boon's style isn't exactly conventional Chinese siew yuk but a lot more to western design - and rather than roasting, the marinated pork stomach was serious fried (yes you study it right!) ◾roasted iberico pork tummy - available just during weekends (Saturday and Sunday), it really is more expensive when compared to regular siew yuk however the taste difference will be obvious. For those who have money to spare, choose this one. ◾roasted pork belly - as effective as the standard siew yuk.. my companion could actually hear the crackling audio as my the teeth sank in to the skin. ◾Wantan noodle with char siew - having tried among the best char siew on the market, I came across their version so-so but commendable ◾Braised pork rice or "lu rou fan" since how we contact this dish, it includes a plate of rice (little size) topped along with braised minced pork and peanut. ◾Sour & spicy vegetable - I love it. ◾roasted poultry - juicy and flavourful precisely how I such as it. An extra add-on to the siew yuk. ◾Iceberg lettuce smothered with braised pork - need We say more? The siew yuk purists will dsicover the deeply fried process not just how what sort of good slab of siew yuk ought to be completed, but somehow Boon got the work done and I that can compare with their siew yuk.

Nice place for an instant casual lunch time of roast pork rice. I would recommend to purchase the roast pork rice because the rice will be fragrant and goes properly with the pork. My just complaint is that should you purchase pork and rice collectively, the pork slicesare reduce rather thinly. Tastes much better as a generous reduce. I also attempted their char siew that was good but a touch too sweet for me personally. I tried the dried out noodle with curry sauce and had not been too amazed with that. The noodle had not been dry sufficient and curry sauce therefore so only.

I actually had a craving for siu yuk and came here to satisfied my craving. Ordered the siu yuk with rice and my pal got the wan tan noodle. It had been sumptuous, specifically given the very best cut plus some ginger sauce. Will completely keep coming back andhighly recommended!

Ended here for supper with a pal on a Mon where the majority of the some other restaurants are shut for the 7 days. The SOPs were honored with tables far aside, very good. We purchased 2 of the signature wantan mee dried out, 1 with roasted poultry& siu yok while mine can be kosong (basic) with curry gravy. My pal commented that both roasted poultry & pork were dry & not really tender, and the mee/noodle provides that kan sui (alcaline) smell/flavor. Mine was OK possibly becoz it's soaked in the curry gravy. Both side orders were Okay, the lettuce emerged in a significant big part with lotsa' fried shallots, the ready made kind that's hard & not fragrant. Nevertheless, the saving grace may be the mix fried siu yuk with darkish sauce, it's very great, done to perfection.
