Actually we had to purchase another helping of honey squid since it was sooo good. We wanted toorder the yam basket however the yam was finished. We went for earlier dinner yesterday. Got honey squid, butter prawns, sizzling taufoo & fresh drinking water prawn with cheese. The honey squid & fresh water prawns were superb. Price is somewhat on the high aspect but it's well worth the knowledge. Will definitely keep coming back again

We arrived backyard seafood on 14/5/18 for lunch time. The purchase taker recommended a seafood without informing us that it expenses about Myr$300 per kg. When going to cook, the waiter found inform us that the fish weighed 2.2 kg. Kind good enough to advise usto consider half. When presented the cooked seafood, we realised that the seafood had not been cooked well, evidently it took from freezer insufficient period unfreeze it. We requested to notice and they took back again to steam again. Normally seafood Re-steam, the fish meats became not tender. I actually spoke to cashier upon transaction, she had no response. Advise to all people to order any kind of seafood from backyard restaurant must require the prices. Don’t repeat our error. No fantastic food items in this restaurant.

It was an average Sunday afternoon, hanging out with my moms and dads and bringing them out there for outing. My mom enjoys drives inside the automobile and my husband made a decision to bring all of us to a good restaurant called Backyard Seafood which is situated in Tanjung Malim. Theowner will be Chinese and for days gone by fifteen years been working a halal Chinese eating place serving a huge selection of Malaysian Chinese meals with dishes which are spicy and in addition non spicy. My favourites as of this restaurant will be the mantis prawn fried kung pao design, four vegetable coffee beans with sambal and lovely and sour prawns with a mantou (soft fluffy loaf of bread) to dip inside the prawn gravy. Actually awesome! Their sambal seafood slices, Teochew steam siakap, butter squid dishes furthermore superb. The service here's also superb almost much like the service you might receive at the KL Hilton or St. Regis KL. Prices may also be reasonable and the seafood never does not impress. The restaurant happens to be performing a Boston lobster promotion.

This was surprising once we didnt know this type of great estaurant exist in Tanjung Malim. The meals was tasty and cost-effective. Well worth the diversion into Tanjung Malim from the highway merely to eat right here. Oh yes this is a Chinese MUSLIM restaurant. Therefore yes itis Halal as well.

Before you enter, see whether you can find busses parked outside - the wait could possibly be long if it's. Busses usually stopped during lunch time. No issue for dinner. My preferred dishes are mantis prawn, honey squid, sliced seafood and infant buncis/french bean. Constantly the placeto entertain for lunch time, a significant different cooking design from the close by nasi padang fare. Highly recommended.

Coming here has been a genuine treat and nice surprise. Everything was prepared perfect. Special mention would go to the udang gala with cheese sauce. When there is a local edition of lobster thermidor, that is it. Purchase it with the breads. Totally worthwhile. The ikanhantu(Shortly Hock or Marble Goby) can be excellent with the seafood cooked just right.
