This place is tricky to get. It is in the square, tucked at the rear of Jalan Boulevard. Easiest access to the square will be from the Boulevard retail center along the service street toward Miri and change right after Proton/Chevrolet seller and before Maxis store. A lot of parkingonce you have discovered the square & the cafe. The restaurant is clean and newly opened two months ago. A busy spot to eat, that is a good sign. The staff are helpful & friendly. The menu specializes in "Bak Kut Teh" type dishes. For the uninititiated it is a stew made out of meaty pork ribs and natural herbs. Tasty, inexpensive and pleasant with many selections on the menu.

Just my 3rd or 4th visit the staff remember my name. The meals is served freshly cooked and piping very hot. Tasty & quick. The owners child sat and chatted if you ask me to apply her English i believe that was also pkeasant. We had drybak kuh teh, chicken in wine & 2 veggy dishes. Go & enjoy.

Great tasting and the meat served is usually fresh. Though I have to say nothing at all beats the Bah Kut Teh within Klang. I was actually attracted to this location because I possibly could smell it from the block away. I must say i did! Essential try specifically ona rainy day

It is located close to Boleuvard Mall area, at the rear of Kelvin Tresses Saloon. We usually eat there when decreasing from Brunei. Reasonable cost and fast support. It is open-air idea and open during the day. It is possible to order too well-known "cucumber sour plum" fruit juice to drainoff heat. In addition, it sell other unique delicacies like chicken wines, vinegar pork leg, etc.

Went there for past due breakfast in 10.30am. Cafe was quiet. However the restaurant vwas perfectly organized and clean. The menu enable you to choose 3 items with plenty of various types of meals at one price. Needless to say the pork belly is oneof the best. But surprisingly, it flavor a bit not the same as what I had in West Malaysia and Singapore. Maybe may be the pork they used. It flavor a little weird. Maybe it isn't brasied plenty of. The pork smell continues to be quite strong. I suppose they might have simmered it into ginger warm water for a longer time so the pork smell has gone out. Before they prepared them. But besides that, the others were fine. I'll visit them once again. For sure!

Yummy, cheap food. Clear, modern restaurant. For an instant meal eating local meals could not do much better than this!

This was our first-time at Go Fun Kee BKT at their new branch at Faradale, near Sarawak Gas Miri. We purchased dry BKT and the most common soup BKT. First impact, this must be an extremely chinese place because the menu was mainly in Chinese, with restricted translation in English. Menus was confusing probably because we don't read chinese and the waitresses had been very poor in English. Good. Typical customisation of BKT (pick the type of meats) was charged a supplementary RM3. Actually selecting the kind of meats in the BKT will be normal practise in every BKT shops that we have been to, and nobody actually billed us for that. They only possess white rice, no essential oil rice. However the tipping point for all of us had been their ridiculous refill plan. Only 1 one time is permitted and the next bowls will undoubtedly be charged RM3.50. We only knew concerning this when we wished to include on soup the next time. Maybe it had been written on the menus in Chinese however, not everybody reads Chinese on the planet isnt it. Fine we'd to order that additional soup since they kids wanted even more soup. Once the soup came it had been in a little bowl for 1 pax. RM3.50 for empty soup for 1 pax is ridiculous. I believe the business proprietors of this restaurant should be very calculative to cost for everything. Even cells are just place at the much end of the store where people wont most likely proceed, unlike most stores in Miri that either placed on the desk or stick several cells dispensers at strategic areas around the store. The receipt has been in Chinese, could it be even lawful in Malaysia? I'd not return back there and wouldn't normally recommend this store to anyone. You can find better types in Miri.
