We were excited ahead and try this eating place as it's higy rated. I got booked our desk for 4 people times beforehand. But when we attained 7.30pm, that they had not reserved us the desk and had given all of them away to walk-incustomers. Then they started moving clients who have been already sat right down to make area for us. It had been embarrassing and awkward! The waiter was quite friendly and brought over our drinks quickly. But we waited 40 mins for the Best Hat starters and one hour for the Mains. I acquired the Rendang Crazy Coriander special with 4 various kinds of rices. Each of them tasted very similar, aside from the coconut rice. The rendang sauce was great but the beef would have to be gradual cooked for longer since it was a little chewy. They told us that they had just exposed after CNY, plus they clearly weren't ready. General, it was an extremely disappointing experience.

We'd been here if they first opened inside 2017 plus they have improved the decoration in the place. We ordered the 4 coloured rice, laksa noodles, fried mee siam, selar fish filled up with chincalok, iced avocado at all times and cendol. All relative small portionsbut tasty. Headed to the trunk entrance for photo possibilities together with the Malacca river. Also done around improve the scenery and the lighting.

This restaurant serves Nyonya and Malay dishes which are reasonably priced in a normal and unique shophouse that retains the atmosphere of a normal nyonya house gives this restaurant a fantastic location and atmosphere The meals especially the Udang nenas dish was excellent .The signature beef rendang dish to us was average since it seem that they might have been simmered just a little longer since it tasted as thought it had been recently unfrozen . Another dishes like the chendol and eggplant had been average . The service was also good and much better than the old traditional nyonya restaurants which have been around for a couple decade where in fact the service was non-existent and surly . The services staff would make an effort to engage in discussion with you - this might appeal to vacationers who want to eat local foods and experience good assistance - something the aged nyonya dining places in Melaka Raya and Jonker Road area can seriously study from . We stopped going to those Nyonya restaurants because the meals are the same exact and the program are non existent . The wait staff smudged the food order however they did make an effort to create amends and do provider recuperation by apologizing and providing a ‘we are sorry ‘ dessert - something the older nyonya restaurants won't do . As such, predicated on these criterion I mentioned , I rate this cafe as excellent . - for service, external atmosphere and typical nyonya meals . Price wise , it really is much like other Nyonya restaurants.

The nyonya food weren't authentic. The beef rendang is certainly similar to beef in satay sauce. The prawn lemak nanas has been overpowering and flavor weird. Disappointing meal.

Lovely people and tasty food. Accommodating and effective staff despite a active evening and insufficient personnel. A showcase of a genuine Malaysian hospitality! Thank you to Carsen who investigated our every whimper. Done well for bringing the very best of Malacca in meals andhospitality.
