I have already been hearing concerning this restaurant since i have was young (like 8-10 years back). Nevertheless, I only reach try out this authentic Nyonya foods when I go to Melaka following a decade. Despite having plenty of tour groupings, the restaurant nevertheless preserves its high quality.Pineapple rice and environment friendly pandan rice have become unique. Steamed Okra along with sambal sauce can be love. Personally, Personally i think that the price is quite affordable however the variety isn't that significantly. Despite so, all of them are signature yummy meals! I did not really get to try all the signature meals but will certainly return to try all of them one day later!

The restaurant provides expanded. Nowadays there are two dining places with two independent entrances on different roads. The meals is authentic. It really is tasty but not excellent. I believe it's been here for some time but appears to attract more visitors than locals.

Had lunch here in a Thursday. Not really crowded. No visit bus. Probably since it had been after 1 pm. Ordered the fish, buah keluak poultry, otah, tofu and the vege dish, the belachan chilli (as well as the free of charge chilli they already positioned on the table)and the cendol. All tasted good even though fish head didn't flavor very new. Drink is another issue. Our elderlies wanted scorching drinks therefore we were recommended very hot soursop juice. Very weird taste. Not really recommended. Another weird thing was whenever we ordered the pandan rice, we meant one plate for every of us but only 1 plate came. Guess Nyonya doesn't eat their foods with rice. We informed the staff members one plate each, and one more bowl of rice arrived. Four folks had to talk about two plates of rice that was also good once we then had even more space to complete all the dishes. Toilet has been big and clean.

The 8 folks had lunch here and our favourite dishes were the sambal ladies' fingers, nyonya chap chye, chicken rendang, otah and sambal squid. The pandan rice has been wonderfully fragrant. The mango fruit juice and cucumber and plum beverage were good too. Miss the pineapplefried rice, seafood maw soup and cendol. The sambal and gula melaka can be bought at the eating place to bring home.

This restaurant is really a new gem we found today following friend’s recommendation. Really traditional and aged style in its ambience. You can’t show how crowded or well-known and soon you step thru leading doorway and you enter another world. It’s older and oldfashion, relatively back into time. We tried: Ayam buakulat Assam prawns with pineapples Eggplant terong Ladies fingers in lovely sambal Sotong sambal with petai Bangkuang Braised duck soup within season salted vegetables Otah Assam curry fish Chendol dessert Pandan flavoured steam rice Pineapple rice 4 season appetiser comprising heavy fried springtime roll, Pandan poultry, smoked duck, lychees. All of the dishes were well-crafted, tasted great and genuine - got standard! I think that it’s the very best Nonya dishes I've tried in Melaka during the last few yrs. WHEN I was with close friends this trip I'll make a indicate keep coming back again with my children when we next check out Melaka in future.

The restaurant caters mainly to tour groups, therefore it could be difficult to match walk-ins. Furthermore, once we found in our very own expertise, we had to hold back longer for our foods to be served. The otah was good. However the babi ponteh had been toosweet and so has been the sambal bindi (ladies fingertips). The nasi lemak had been interesting however, not something I'd have missed should they only served whitened rice. Comparatively, Personally i think that Nancy's kitchen nevertheless served better and much more authentic nonya food.

Poor provider from the girl boss I assume. Went inside when there was no-one else, ordered our meals and began our lengthy wait around. 30 mins at the very least and tour team started to arrive and within a few minutes got offered their food. We then questioned themabout our foods and were told that people need to wait another 15 mins in order to clear the tour team. What?! We arrived previously and had to hold back to allow them to finish their meals before our food could be served! We then requested to cancel the orders and purchase the beverages but were told that the meals has been cooked. Meals were served after looking forward to almost one hour but we were greatly disappointed with the meals standards as well. Itek Tim arrived fully packed with pepper and doesn't flavor of salted vegetables. Assam prawns were bland. Ayam rendang was hard. Pineapple rice was poor, tasteless. Price had not been cheap. Highly not really recommended.

Their food is horrible salty, when u feedback with their counter staff. They actually speak more noisy than u. With this particular kind of mindset I question how they pay attention to client and improve. The flavor is an excessive amount of until we feel unpleasant after consume oreven tongue furthermore painful because is as well over salty. They talk with u like u in no way eat other Nyonya foods. We seem not really the initial reviewer who complain like but seem they are their practices. Foods that show customer also look significantly diff than because the menu. For certain won’t come again the next time or possibly they don’t even treatment. Then why we treatment to aid such kind operator.
