Old restaurant run by way of a nice family. We'd their conventional popiah, Nonya laksa, Nonya dumpling, Melaka rojak & Bak Chor Mee. It’s not packed as it’s from the most common Jonker Walk,... therefore there’s spot to sit and revel in our food... not really rushedwhere others position around waiting you to finish. Quite relaxed... so show patience... but food is good Happy eating

Rushed over with 12 minutes to closing when i was dying to flavor the popiah but unfortunately it had been sold out 😲. The girl was pushing the nyonya dumpling which we did try 2 but eventually had another. It had been superior to the oneswe tried previous at another shop. So we ended purchasing 20!. The flavour of the spice was there, could taste the wintermelon reminded me how my mum would produced hers.

Laksa is tasty but quite spicy! Their nonya dumpling can be a must try out. The rice and meats of the dumpling are usually fragrance and delicious, however if serve hot/hot will undoubtedly be so far better. Popiah and rojak are normal.

The owners of the restaurant were extremely welcoming and warm. We purchased one Nonya Dumpling, one Poh Piah and something Nonya Laksa. Individually the laksa had been my favourite, it had been spicy and wealthy. The dumpling has been scrumptious and I believed it would have already been betterif served popular. Didn’t enjoy the Poh Piah, the filling can be inadequate unlike the well-known Bunga Raya Poh Piah that is tightly packed therefore fat!!

As the entire household was a large fan of popiah, this location became apparent for all of us to go to. That’s an exclusive parking spaces for individuals who are driving ideal across the street plus they billed RM10 for a whole lot. Crossed over and you'll findthis small small shop, unassumingly located by the end associated with the popular jonker street. We purchased the popiah, nyonya dumpling and Rojak to talk about. The popiah, filled up with pork lard that is a trademark of the popiah serves within melaka. It improve the taste of the complete popiah remembering the texture aswell. However, the popiah had been loosely kept and the turnip has been a touch too plain for the liking. The rojak had been very average aswell. That that stood out has been the good older nyonya dumpling! The glutinous rice had been very gentle and fragrant. Also it totally complemented the flavorful pork wrapped. As such, a fairly mixed handbag when it found the meals offered here. They perform work laksa which we didn’t attempt. The dumpling has been good however the rest that people had really was average.

It’s a vintage establishment in jonker. The girl owner is quite friendly n pleased with her meals...promoting them in probably the most friendly fashion! Loved the Popiah...the pork lard in the fillings provided it a supplementary oomp! Crispy guilty satisfaction. The laksa is quite tasty nspicy. A little enough part that it goes perfectly with the Popiah. The sour plum consume is great too! Sour n lovely, very well balanced.

As this shop reaches the contrary end of Jonker road where in fact the crowd usually begins from opposite the Crimson square, the store was a good respite for tired foot. The popiah had not been well made in comparison to other tighter searching ones I've seen buttasty enough with pork lard in the turnip filling. Attempt the 8 treasures tea that is pleasantly nice and herbal. I purchased 2 dumplings to create back again to KL and the girl owner advised never to devote the fridge that really day of shopping for them but to set up the fridge on the next day. The dumplings price $6 ringgit and has been the most conventional of nonya dumplings I've seen with the glowing blue pea flower staining section of the dumpling. I saw others attempt the rojak and the laksa which looked a little portion. All in all, it is a quaint spot to try local meals when compared to over crowded cafes together Jonker street.

This small eatery doesn’t have a thorough menu, with just a couple local favorites of nonya laksa, nonya dumplings, popiah and rojak. Tried everything except the rojak, the nonya laksa is definitely spicy with heavy coconut gravy, pretty flavorful and will come in a good portion. Thepopiah utilizes pork lard, that is something brand-new for me personally, but tasty nevertheless. The nonya dumpling will be small and is great as a snack. This can be a good place for a brief break while visiting Jonker area. But cos the area is small with restricted seats, this is simply not recommend as a location to sit and rest in order to avoid hogging seats.

We had the initial 3 items also it tasted common and ordinary . This is simply not bad, nor is it earth shattering . It is located by the end of Jonker street based on which portion of the street you're entering . Therefore, locationwise it really is central however, not overly crowded . The establishing is really a typical eating home with about 7 tables which were completely occupied at around 1130 with some takeaways . Unfortunately no in-house brewed espresso or toast was provided or it'll be better still . Again , average foods but I won’t traveling taken care of to consume typical fare .
