We went there like a coupe in-may 2019, on the hot day inside the rainy period. We were amazed by the lively town of Melaka and its own old environment. In the afternoon we'd Chinese tea in the chinees tea chip nextdoor. We hada lovely supper in this eating place. Above the cafe there exists a fine assortment of Chinese porceline worthy of considering. The dishes have become nice. Please consider the pictures. The employees is quite very friendely to assist you within their best English that is good.

Peranakan Museum Eating place is as the title suggests - a museum and a cafe, and diners may enjoy their food within an older Peranakan (Straits Chinese) house filled with home furniture and artifacts that reflect the everyday life of the initial wave of Chinese migrants to theMalay Peinsular. Peranakan cooking is really a hybrid of Malay and Chinese food because so many of the first Chinese migrants married regional Malay women. The Peranakan neighborhood grew rich in the first years of empire because they could assist as middlemen linking the Chinese and British. We didn’t order very much as we were complete from lunch, however the dishes we'd were excellent, specifically the udang chin chuan (prawns fried with shallots inside a sweet black sauce) and chendol. Prices are high in comparison to other Peranakan dining places in Melaka but nonetheless very wallet friendly in comparison to what Peranakan restaurants inside Singapore charge. For example, we paid slightly below RM120 (US$26) for prawns, wing coffee beans, an omelet, a salad (achar), glowing blue pea tea and something chendol (shared).
