Why is it so difficult for Melaka's restaurants personnel showing warmth and welcoming enthusiasm? At "Nancy" along with other Peranakan dining places we were sadly confronted with employees who made no vision contact, did not grin or demonstrated any warmth and talked loudly among themselves. Itfelt like we were consuming in someone else's house and intruding on. Where may be the F&B professionalism observed in HK,Thailand or Japan. In China they shout a robust " welcome , welcome or Huān yíng huān yíng, qǐng zuò , in Japan "irasshaimase" however in Melaka, these were sullen and stare at you ? Could it be Covid or perhaps a habitual public response?

Price is regular. But food isn't fresh. Compare with their previous era. It’s two different globe of taste. I instead u charge slightly increased price with top quality food provided rather than giving us fair cost but inferior food high quality.

Food with price had not been satisfying, the menu displays chicken/prok rib has been buah keluak but happens to be WITHOUT keluak, and each cost for rm2, the meals isn't fresh, not well worth for trying

This was an exceptionally disappointing dinner. Meals was bland, and After all really bland. The great thing we'd was the chendol, that i would say was just slightly above typical. And what managed to get worse was that the moment they had offered us,these were more interested to obtain us out of there in order to fill the table once again with other visitors (and we really made reservations!). This cafe is often ranked saturated in many evaluations, but I don’t realize why

Lunched here on each day trip with my children. Good food, value and lots of choice. Met and chatted with Nancy. The durian mochi cendol would be to die for.

We visited Nancy’s kitchen carrying out a long vacation hiatus because of the pandemic. The final we visited this location, food was so tasty so we'd to go again. Nevertheless, we were therefore dissatisfied with the dishes particularly the udang masak lemak whichwas therefore bland rather than flavourful. We also purchased the sotong goreng, bendi sambal belacan and ikan bilis sambal petai that was dreadful to state the least. The laundry came surprisingly quick so it didn’t look like they prepared it there and. Only the PaiTee actually lived around its flavor and we loved it. Don’t believe I’d be arriving here again.

We ordered the fried squid, Sambal fried rice and pork dish- all 3 were great and tasty. The only real disappointing one had been the pineapple coconut milk prawn. It had been bland. Otherwise an excellent experience. It got fairly crowded and obviously seemed understaffed. Cendol was greattoo! Little portion but yummy. Price wise, does sense a little on top of the side. But general enjoyed the knowledge. Was far more worthwhile ordering via get. Save on time and you also get discounts!

We booked our lunch time your day before and went earlier. Appointment at 12noon attained 11:05, the queue outside was 3 stores long. Waited another 20minutes and lastly got a table. We tried the poultry buah keluak, beef rendang, bakwan sup, popiah and whole Assamdish. Best has been the Assam seafood which had the ideal mixture of tangy Assam, seafood cooked just right. Next was the poultry buah keluak . The nutty buah keluak has been creamy and went nicely with the poultry and gravy. The beef rendang was tasty and a tad too dried out. The soup was disappointing because the meatballs were small. Service was average. Overall the meals was delicious and really worth the wait. Try to book forward or be ready for a long wait.

Dishes were precooked rather than served hot. Portions had been small and nothing amazing. Pineapple tarts looked great but didn't taste clean. Nyonya bakchang was therefore so only. Overall not really affordability. Unfriendly staff.

Great food, noodles were a disappointment. Got some sharing meals to use Malaysian cuisine. May have a wait though
