I'm a Melaka local, made a decision to test it out for through Groupon. Noticed the efficiency at 8pm, that is o.k. However the food is horrible. None of the 7 meals + Chendol is anyway near authentic Nyonya foods. All 4 folks whoare nearby Melakan agreed. You can tell by since this restaurant does mostly tourist business, with buses of Chinese + Taiwaneese coming, sufficient reason for stage performance. Feel poor that it requires 1 cafe to ruin the fantastic food trustworthiness of Melaka Nyonya. Will need to have left a long lasting poor impression on those unsuspecting foreigners.

The price is the same as the portion but I've had better nyonya food elsewhere. We had taken anchovies sambal with stinky coffee beans (RM22), poultry pongteh (RM18), kangkung with shrimp paste (RM14) and shrimp paste sambal (RM3.50). The very next day we required away 7 kuih chang(RM7 each) plus they were quite delicious but a bit on a sweeter aspect compared to the chinese version.

We were at 1100hrs on saturday early morning, the 1st hour of these bussines operation. Place was completely booked with a lot of empty table.only fifty percent were occupied simply by cust. We weren't offered a desk,at all...u gotta be kidding me... Imagine the frustration..study alot about greatthings concerning the meals, authentic nyonya cuisine,ambience,etc..however the reality is,hahaha...definately not what been described.. We walked from the premise to get another less over-rated eating place.. *men seriously, dun bother to walk-inside if u dont help make any reservation..not really until this premise bussines heading down the drain.after that only they'll welcome u with open arms n large fake smile about they face.. We really pity this sort of bussines m.o...exclusively focus on reservation pax n neglect those that walk-in. *after reading quite a few reviews here, its simply no brainer that people dont find yourself spending our dollars right now there..

Don't waste time as of this restaurant. They don't really even interested to last. When obtain table, the staff simply ignore you when he could be standing right before you. Total 3 personnel ignore when approach.
