Having seafood simply by the sea is definitely a lure. J&J is situated at the row of seafood dining places in this Portuguese square. Though I have already been to Melaka often, this is the first-time I visited this square at Ujong Pasir. We took aGRAB right here from Dataran Pahlawan. About 12 minutes ride. Having browse the good reviews, We opt to choose J&J. Best choice. We have there been earlier about 5.30pm. Another right choice. We waited quite miss the food to reach. Crab has been on my checklist. Crab purchase requires at the very least of two. 1kg at RM85 (seasonal price). We'd the dark pepper crabs (RM93.50). It had been slightly charred and got the smoky flavour. It had been not oily nor as well peppery. The crab flesh has been firm and sweet. Love this particular dish very much. The Portuguese baked fish (RM45 - predicated on weight) was amazing. The reddish colored snapper was new and properly baked. What stood out had been the sambal sauce. Not as well spicy but with the proper part of tangy sweetness. It had been packed with flavours. Speaking with the owner, she explained this is their house secret recipe sauce moving down from her grandparents. I also acquired the opportunity to meet up the chef and provided a thumb-up sign. The butter garlic prawns (RM30) were infused with the aromatic and golden dark brown garlic. It had been fresh but prawn isn't big. Sambal kangkong (RM10) was appropriate. It had been quite ordinary.

Visited this yesterday after examine all the comment Go there Purchase Portuguese grill fishes, ginger clam, sambal girls finger and butter garlic prawn Seafood not fresh.. the stingy seafood so horrible- the meats so hard!!!! Superb disappointed
